I tried that AMD Gaming Evolved app when I had R9 290. The implementation is very weak: The optimization was all over the place and their Hardware encoder used CPU a lot for a hardware encoder.

One thing no one talks about is the overall software experience with Nvidia is a lot better. Their Geforce Experience app for example is a central hub for tuning games and recording game footages.

I pledged for this game the moment I heard about the game from here.

I still can’t shake the feeling how out of place Battle Mode looks like.

Can’t they take a page from Witcher 3? The game has abundance of quests and activities all over it’s massive gameworld, but it hides all the mess and presents them in a much organic fashion.

Not sure what you expected from 770, it was a mid tier card. I card perhaps really well on modern games still.

For me, Youtube streaming service hands down gives a lot better performance than twitch. With my 5mbps connection, I cannot even watch standard definition without constant buffering, but with Youtube I can stream 1080p/60 without no hitch.

The only problem I had with the game were the random crash, which the latest patch solved it.

It reminded me of nothing like DOOM, I’m glad it got scrapped.

I am hoping this game gets the similar treatment like Wolfenstein. A good cast of characters on both sides and solid shooting mechanics will do wonders just like it did with Wolfenstein.

You have to understand how VR works and only then you will see the requirements as a blessing. Rendering games twice at 1080p is not a simple task at all, so the fact that you don’t need a dual top of line card is great news.

This is how I wanted Fallout to be, unwelcoming and hostile, but the core game was anything like that. Will definitely try it!

Not buying this amazing game just because you don’t agree with their DLC strategy (without even seeing the content), is just crazy. I wouldn’t buy the season pass for 40$, similarly how I never pay 50$ for a new game on the PC.
