I agree, I do think it's a fallacy to suggest that just because a gun can be legally owned in Ohio that cops should go into a situation believing the gun is legally owned... Or that no one could ever do something wrong with a legal weapon.

This cop? Probably not. I live in St. Louis, just outside of Ferguson, and have seen how the public has reacted here and specifically what dangers Darren Wilson would face. I promise you, it has nothing to do with his job status. I wasn't really referring to this specific comment thread as a lynch mob, more

While that's true, many of my childhood friends weren't following Rule #1 and yet, we still see each other all the time. I think there might be more to it, then Rule #1.

Sorry! Oh, I know she did the right thing. It's a neat photo over his bed. I just meant it's kind of girly for a guy to seek it out. That's all.

Hahaha, I missed the outrage over that being a fake baby. That's good stuff. Fair enough. I found it, yeah. Interesting.

Haha - Yes, I wasn't really needing anyone to believe me. I held them and such. His trolling was effective today, and I guess he probably sleeps better now that he got to me. It bothered me, and I didn't want anyone to read it later and think that I dropped it because he called me on my two sons dying. That's all. I'm

I'm also impressed that you found that.... Great job, lol.

It is. That blog is someone that lives in Australia. You submit your children's names to them, and then they write their names in the sand and send you back those photos. We have that photo framed in our son's bedroom.

Nope.. Hence why I've said somewhere between 55 and 85 times in this thread that they should be punished for shooting someone without even trying to assess the situation. Not because Tamir wound up having a toy gun in his waistband. The gun being real or fake is irrelevant with the way they reacted to the situation...

lol, no? I still don't follow. I assume we'll get there eventually together, though.

The same kind of moron that fails to read the entire thead, before making a comment about feelings the person he's commenting on doesn't possess, I guess.

Thanks Demon. Harligh is too busy pretending he's all knowing to realize we feel the same way... I can't really help him from there, though.

He wasn't playing with other kids, so I'm not sure how that impacts your feelings. I'm guessing not much. I would expect them to act that way, as well. Again, not because the child wound up having a toy gun.. but because that's how you should react to a child having a real gun. Hence, why I've continuously said that

You missing my point, doesn't speak to my critical thinking skills. Just because open carry is legal in a state, doesn't mean someone open carrying is doing so legally lol......

Huh?

No, it just speaks to his mindset. Analyzing things in hindsight, as opposed to understanding the mindset they were in, is a really dumb way of doing it. Him mistaking him for older doesn't really change what he thought was the situation when he arrived. That doesn't mean he reacted correctly for the situation he

Would you accept "the caller warned them about ______" if they showed up and acted upon such information and that caller wound up being wrong? No? Neither do they. What is wrong with you, that you've ignored the other 250 posts in this thread where I already pointed out why your strawman logical fallacy is present?

1. Irrelevant, unless you're also willing to acknowledge when a cop makes a mistake based on what they're told by the caller and they're wrong. They're supposed to assess the situation, which they failed to do upon arrival.

If you think them shooting Tamir Rice had nothing to do with them believing he had a gun, then I can't really help you. We're talking about two different things.

I haven't defended either office. Both of them deserve to be punished. You're willfully choosing to ignore my point. I condemn the officers for the way they reacted, not because they shot someone with a toy gun. That's all.
