The only way this even remotely stands a shot of working is if it's a position that can directly translate to profit. Virtually every company on earth doesn't have the budget flexibility to just randomly add a new position, unless there's a specific value/revenue proposition tied to it.

I had read that 5 million had SHIPPED, not 5 million had been purchased. I'm thinking millions of these things are, and will continue to be sitting on shelves.

Barring living at home with mom and dad, how exactly do you avoid a big mortgage or rent payment? Because that's really what you're suggesting here. Most people are spending a good chunk of their monthly income on putting a roof over their heads

if anything, I think this is the perfect time to change screen sizes - take the outgoing iPad resolution of 1024 x 728 and set that up on a 326 pixels-per-inch retina display, and that gives you a 4" display, and a screen that is .14" taller than the current one, and .35" wider.

Good, they need to get on this....because this is me.

First off, zooming is always an option. I like it a lot. I have a 72 blazer myself that I'm going a somewhat similar path with. I do think they made some strange choices though.

There's a tire place a mile from my house where the owner and employees have some sort of Dodge Rampage/Plymouth Scamp fetish. At points, there are as many as 5 of them parked there. It's such a weird sight.

that screams mental hospital to me.

The problem with texting at red lights is that people don't just text at red lights. They're still texting when the light turns green, annoying all the people in the cars behind them. The car behind you beeping should not be your indicator of when to go.

I would like to address a few points there.

If you're using pandora (or any music service) 40 hours a week at work, that's not unrealistic.

if you mean for the picture shown, that's obviously a mockup, photoshop, or staged. who would shower on a small pan like that with no sides?

not at all. It's a Planet Fitness location. I've been a member of other gyms (Gold's, Retro Fitness), and I've toured just about every other one in my area, and it's absolutely fine.

my gym is $10 a month. If you value your time as money (as you should), it would be hard to justify more than an hour a month maximum time commitment in exchange for $10.

I'm by no means a hardcore gamer, but the integrated graphics on my sandy bridge core i5 is far more than capable for my needs.

during the eagles training camps in the summer, there are definitely countless millions of dollars of vehicles on campus.

I went to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA, and some of the cars there were pretty outlandish, since there are a lot of rich kids.
