i totally don't agree with the 1080 vs 720 argument. unless you're talking about screens less than 30" or so, there really aren't any quality 720p sets. they're just the bottom end cheap stuff. and if you actually take the advice of the other points on the list, that's going to rule out 720p anyway.

@MikeSWelch: negative. the prices dropped like a rock between march and july. that was the price everywhere at that point

@MifuneT: at that point, the kindle DX was like 359 - 400 i think.

this is a real kick to the nuts for me. i bought a kindle 2 on March 29, 2010 for $265.98 shipped. less than 8 months later, it's 1/3 the price?

@tobythesandwich: not to mention it's completely embarrassing that this thing still has a 4 speed auto in 2010

the loss of manuals in full sized trucks is by far the worst in my opinion. This is something that happened in the last generation of full sized trucks, and it wasn't because of 5 and 6 speed autos, it happened before that.

using mullet in a camaro article. how original

" and those that opt for a Chevy product over a Ford product, like the Ranger, tend to be of the trailer park sort."

to me, no car from the factory is/was white trash. a lot of shit from the 70's and 80's looks that way now, but it was appropriate to its era.

if you've ever seen an indoor monster truck show, you'll know why. exhaust stinks. especially on performance vehicles.

@FormerlyTheGreatestDriver: they're easy to miss, considering they look just like the others with different badging, but there are a decent amount out there

Mitsubishi GS - outlander, lancer, evo, chrysler sebring, dodge caliber, jeep compass, dodge avenger, dodge journey, and several other non us models.

someone with google maps and too much free time needs to find this

the 7 passenger vehicle argument assumed the vehicle is valueless after 5 years. What if the vehicle you payed $5000 more with 7 seats is worth $3000 more as a trade-in than the vehicle with 5 seats would have been? that puts your cost per use at $2000/5, or $400 per use, and lower than the rental.

i don't know why residual loss isn't a factor in every accident.

a macbook air appeals to me a lot more than an ipad. the number one thing that sets the two apart to me most is this:

i had one just like that, and i'm from pa. it even looks like that one had the towing hitch added, which i also did, but it looks like you have dual exhaust tips, which mine didn't.

@CrabSpirits: if that's dark green and not black (hard to tell in the picture), i have that same configuration parked out back :)

@mipakr: i have a 72 i'm restoring. it was originally the color of the one pictured even. thanks for the image
