The problem with your example is the CPU. The CPU in the PS3 is a very low power mobile platform cpu. Think of it as an underclocked, very inexpensive, AMD Cpu. Like an intel core I3 from 3 years ago probably would perform better.

Not only that but they put the HDR Cart in front of the 4k Cart. Eurogamer has an excellent break down on it and why it will never truly be a 4k system. The ps4 pro’s whole purpose is to upscale games and show of hdr lighting. It does not have the CPU to push 1080p current gen gameplay at 60 frames per second.
