heh, it’s all relative. I couldn’t do a 35" tv in my bedroom 12x12 bedroom. I am looking to put a minimum of a 50 in there. lol

consider yourself lucky.
well, considering you are talking about a 4 billion people market. It’s world wide and china/japan are where the big gains are coming from.
You may want to hold off until the next superbowl then.
Everyone is different.
well, consider that over 10% of the total world wide tv shipments were 4k tv’s and even though tv shipments declined over all, 4k tv shipments grew.
They have clarified it.
I thought you were talking about the play anywhere titles.
I don’t see why that will be a big surprise. They have over a year to get manufacturing down, the parts are getting smaller and smaller and cheaper and cheaper. Just compare the new GTX1080 and compare it to the titan x release.
I don’t think it will be as bad as you believe it to be. They will design a game and that will be that. Good companies will make the effort to differentiate their products and other companies will not. You can see it now on the many re-releases being done where it’s just a simple upgrade in resolution and they call it…
Sure they did. You are buying it anyway, the games are designed to work for both systems from the get go, and if you buy it you also own it on a console.
Yes. I stopped chasing the hardware years ago. This last gen PC gamers have been really lucky because their have been no real processor enhancement over the last 5 years (an I7k processor from 5 years ago performs almost as well as a new I7k processor from last year). Graphics cards have been updating as well but the…
consoles don’t have the overhead pc’s do. Some asshole can make a simple 4k runner and relaease it as a true 4k game.
It won’t be. Quite simply, by the time it is released I can see sony undercutting it by dropping the price of the ps4/pro even lower. I think MS may take a hit and sell it at 400 also.
It’s MS apologizing for Fucking up the xbox one. It’s a console designed for games first and an insane amount of power for a tv. It is the first console I can see actually lasting 5 years.
Sony is backing HDR10, they are not backing Dolby Vision, as it costs more to implement and requires specialize Dolby hardware in both the Display and the Player.
Sony is known for throwing out number. They love to jizz out billions of particle effects, trillions of polygons, real time emotion engines, and whatever cum dump they feel like spewing.
really, that’s how you look at it? They both got their asses kicked by the wii, a console that sold at a profit from day one. It took sony 5 years to catch up to ms and it took devs almost the entire life of the thing to figure out how to make decent games for it.
that’s not true, by year 6 devs had a firm hand on how to fully take advantage of the PS3 and the cell architecture.
yeah, but it only took what, 5 years for it to catch up?
