I disagree with you partially. I don’t watch let’s play videos, because I am not playing the game. I don’t find them entertaining and it is not indicative of the game play. You don’t get that Aha moment or self gratification of playing the game yourself.

Piracy as a Demo has never been an issue, IMO. I can understand that and even get behind it. That is the only excuse for piracy IMO, especially as no one is releasing demo’s any more.

This is also another tired excuse. There is no return policy on games, and some games just are not worth the price of admission, but you don’t know that ahead of time. Demo’s have also fallen off as well and are no where near as prevalent as before.

That is a horseshit excuse and completely false. Many, many, people that pirate are people that can afford a game and will buy it but don’t because they don’t need to. Diablo 3 and JC3 are two examples where I know for a fact people that are pirating games opted to purchase because cracks never came on the PC.

what challenges and why can’t the other toons do it also?

I just got back to the game, and to put it simply, leveling and gear drops are insanely fast and loose respectively. Especially if you have extra xp and magic find. It got to the point where I was not getting any blue drops at all, everything was yellow.

I got my set by linking my live account with blizzard.

I typically play with friends and occasionally someone I see on the d3 console forums. I have never had it happen to me, but on the forums there are many people complaining about getting thousands of paragon levels due to hacked people hopping in.

That’s the thing though, it really isn’t the same thing. It’s what it has always been though, only fine tuned. The new levels and missions are fun, the adventure mode is fun, having friends to bs with also makes it a great social game.

Not trying to get you back in, but just so you know, leveling has become stupid easy. I gained 4 levels by clearing out 1 mission. by the time I got to the last mission I couldn’t kill the boss because my gear was way to low level and I couldn’t damage the butcher.
