Well, UI and ecosystem are personal preferences so I can't argue them with you. But saying its "a bit more expensive than the nexus 7" is just wrong. The 16gb Nexus 7 will be $200 next week, with better internals and a better screen. That's not "a bit" in my book. That's 65% more.

4:3 aspect ratio means you aren't using 25% of that screen when watching TV, Videos, and movies and I think that's what a lot of people use their tablets for. I realize that their OS is setup for this ratio, but since they changed it for the iPhone I think they should've gone closer to 16:9 on the iPad Mini too.

Its not just choosing a way of life though... if it was then many more would probably leave. I don't have a problem with people putting cases on their phones. BUT, I don't understand the part about buying the thinnest phone and putting the bulkiest case in the world on it.
