I bought Master Chief Collection really excited for the co-op campaigns. Never played Halo before but I heard it was fun and MCC was the perfect time to jump in. But you can’t play co-op without a friend. No Xbox Live matching. WTF

He tries really hard. I can respect that. It’s either brilliant or a disaster... but it’s always interesting. Except Omikron. Eff that game.

How about a Kotaku list of games with optional suicide? Should get some clicks right? I can only think of SWAT 2, playing as a terrorist.

Fuck this game. I was loving it for about 5 hours but that Alien is ridiculous. On Hard difficulty she just magically knows exactly where you’re hiding and charges straight for you. And on Easy difficulty she’s still stalking you no matter where you are on the station. Literally the only time the xenomorph attacks…

Origin ain’t so bad. It used to be, but it’s pretty solid now. I originally only downloaded Origin for Crysis 3 but now I’ve picked up a bunch of free games; that’s right, they give away paid games randomly.

Killer Instinct sick! I already have the disc but picking up this free digital version will allow me to play without the disc. Love these free games.

I spent 53 hours on my first playthrough of this game. Emily, totally non-lethal. But I love that there’s a NG+. Maybe a year from now I’ll dive back in as Corvo and just slaughter everybody.

I farkin love my elite controller. And it’s fantastic across both Windows and Xbox. I play Gears 4 on both systems and it just seamlessly works on both with exactly the same feel and presets. It also works great as a one handed controller when I want to use a mouse for aiming. Because it has extra buttons I mean....…

I love when shooters solve all problems with shooting. (And with this you can literally solve problems with shooting.) I was playing Gears of War 4 campaign the other day and one of the characters asked, “How are we gonna get that bridge down?” With shooting, of course.

It was definitely a grind for all the Halloween skins since they were available for a short period of time. But in general I don’t mind the drop rate.

I heard 1 in 24 is guaranteed to have a legendary item. But in my experience it’s been much more often than that.

Roadhog has the lowest winrate of all the tanks and I don’t think he’s used often at the highest levels. He charges everybody’s ults super fast too.

I was a Lucio main for hundreds of hours until the first time I played Roadhog. He’s so freaking fun. And survivable if you’re good. I’ve had so many games with 5 golds as Roadhog that I just can’t quit now. Plus the wonky hooks make me laugh and laugh.

I actually heard of a lot of button breakage on the elite so I waited until Best Buy had a sale and then bought it with the replacement plan. If mine busts within 2 years I’ll get a brand new elite controller.
