I just picked Quake up in the Steam sale. Anybody got suggestions for mods or graphical improvements?

It’s not that different from a AAA game end credits. I mean if you delivered sandwiches to a Ubisoft office while they were making Black Flag then you probably got in their credits.

Overwatch is fun... but I just sold my copy. I don’t have the temperament for multiplayer versus games. I don’t know why I keep trying to convince myself that I do.

Me & my buddy bought an N64 for Doom 64 only. It’s literally one of only two games I ever owned for the system. It was worth it.

I would settle for Microsoft allowing me to launch a game through Steam. You can do this with origin games and DRM free games... but UWP is too locked down to allow overlays and external launchers.

Play Anywhere only applies to digital purchases. I don’t know why but I still prefer to buy my console games in physical form. Now if they gave me a code in that box to play on PC... that would be sweet. (But then what’s to stop people from selling that code or just taking it and selling back the game? Ugh)

We did find a mod that seems to let you kill kids, because that’s a thing, too. It’s usually justified as a desire to remove restrictions

On the subject of DOOM soundtracks; I messed around with DOOM 3 BFG Edition’s files the other day and found like 100 different midi versions of Frere Jacques, the french song about brother John. No clue how that could be used in DOOM 3.

This set of Resident Evil (PS1) keys was given away as promotional material for some events I think. I heard they go for $1500 now. I want ‘em so bad.
