Used to be my go-to place for Top Gear, until the BBC started taking down every single video.

Really. Last I checked there were black people (Wendell Scott, Bill Lester, and Darrell Wallace Jr.), hispanic people (Juan Pablo Montoya, Daniel Suarez, and Rico Abreu (who also happens to be a little person)), and gay people (Stephen Rhodes) who have all competed. Just because the majority of drivers are straight…
Maybe, but they haven’t done anything to keep women out of the sport.
Are you saying that the people who run NASCAR are crap human beings regarding letting women race? If so, then how?
“I get it though, you are some evolution biologist idiot. Gotta love a fucking moron.”
Well it’s a good thing that nobody is actually advovating for that strawman that you’ve just made up.
Well alright then.
I doubt anyone on Jalopnik can swim like Michael Phelps, that’s why we wouldn’t drive our cars through the floodwater in the first place.
Ironic, considering the fact that Senna himself took a massive shortcut through pit lane in 1993 at Donington.
Wow, you made a Kinja account just to argue with people about how great this cheap knock off car is on an article posted almost two years ago. How pathetic.
Not lowering them at the same time is a good solution. I haven’t encountered these gates before so I didn’t know that. I think I’d rather bust the gates then be busted by a train. And I would think the gates would have some way of knowing. Then again, I also thought that trains had speed limiters on them to prevent…
Well I doubt that the gates are stronger than the cars. They could just smash through in a situation like that.
It’s not VW’s job to design a car that will be completely safe to drive at double the speed limit on decade old tires.
Wow, not even Super Nintendo Chalmers believes in government education.
I’m a bit shocked that they weren’t caught. They practically did this in broad daylight.
. . .and now I’ll always be reminded as well.
I’d argue that it’s still a beak, it’s just made of grille instead of a chunk of metal. It’s nearly the exact same shape.
I partly agree, but I think complaining on the looks of cars we don’t plan on ever buying is still fine, because although we won’t ever buy, drive, or even ride in them, we still have to look at them.
If they started tossing them, they’d literally be tossing money in the trash. It will take a while to sell them, but I would think for 6 figures keeping them around for a bit will be worth it.
