Same story as Top Gear USA. I bought into that for a while, I used to rant about how horrible TG USA was, but it’s grown on me. I even enjoy the first season episodes, despite the. . .cringeworthy moments. Will new new Top Gear be as good as TG USA? Probably not, at least not at first. But is TG USA the worst thing in

I’m sure I saw him speed up to ram the motorcyclist too. I wouldn’t be surprised if he changes his excuse to “I confused the gas for the brake.”

Regarding “back in the day,” we have the benefit of hindsight now. Back then, people probably thought that their cars were about as safe as they could ever be.

To a point though, it’s kind of true. I’d go out of my way to be more careful in a car from the 50s with no seat belts or air bags compared to just the normal driving I would do in a modern car.

It might be a human being in pain, but to be fair, if they were in a motorcycle crash without a helmet, it probably wouldn’t hurt much. Their death would be nearly instantaneous.

Still, if they stopped doing this, the money being spent on it could be shuffled around to more important things.

Take a zero off the end of the price, and I’d consider it.

Basically, he took everything good about the Miata, and removed it from this one.

Less dangerous camber and unsafely stretched tires, which is the entire point of “stance.”

So what’s stopping the cab drivers from becoming Uber drivers?

I’m not sure what your point is. Are the customers who bought 918s, P1s, and the LaFerrari not enthusiasts? Or the ones that bought Koenigseggs? Veyrons? Do you consider the ones that bought Spykers enthusiasts because that company is gone now? Or are none of them enthusiasts just because they’re all filthy rich? For

Formula E would be my guess.

Unless the speeder bike that Rey pilots happens to have similar controls to the Millennium Falcon, the “sexist assholes” kind of have a point. Luke blew up the death star with the help of the force, which he receives some training in earlier in the movie, and dialog references Luke bullseye-ing Womp Rats about the

Eh, a few hundred thousand to fund an expedition to the trench cavern would be worth it.

There have been both manned and unmanned submarine voyages to the bottom of the trench. . .how hard can it be to get a car out of a cavern there?

If you wrote your own story about some fantastic car, would you be able to make that appear as well?

Damn. I don’t suppose a Ford Ranger from about the same era would be much better?

Is there any reason why they don’t name the make and model of the comparison car? The fact that they don’t seems suspicious, and makes me think they tested it against a Biscayne or something.

They’re called donorcycles for a reason.

The fact that she had co-drivers is hardly relevant, all modern 24 hour endurance races require co-drivers. If you’re going to downplay Sabine for having a co-driver in that race, then you have to also downplay all endurance racers.
