When the article was uploaded it had a picture of an orange chrome bumper C3, they’ve changed the picture since then.
The picture was of an earlier “chrome bumper” C3, the article was later edited to have a more accurate photo.
I appreciate that. I did see some performance data (from Wikipedia, so I’d verify it from another source) that the 1997 Plymouth Prowler had a 0-60 of 7.2 seconds, which would without question earn it a spot on this list. Maybe edit the article to say that too, if it can be verified.
Same for me with Celicas, and I thought the aggressive bodywork for that “base model” looked. . .suspicious.

They completely lost me when they showed a ‘68-72 Corvette and then gave the 0-60 time for the obviously awful mid 70’s model.
I think it’s funny how Nascar never tried to defend themselves from Keselowski’s comment.
It looks like a squashed Gremlin.
Dan Wheldon too.
I think if Daimler wanted to shut down Chrysler, they would have just discontinued the brand. And not buying any cars from one country because of the actions of one brand from that country is just silly.
So people aren’t allowed to be concerned for other people’s health?
Honestly, I suspect that Gran Turismo was being biased with the performance of that car and most of the Japanese cars in the game. Almost all the best racing cars in each category are Japanese. Plus, about half the cars in the whole game are Japanese.
Oddly enough, I usually only see Librrty Mutual commercials during Judge Judy as well.
A lot of people are saying they will boycott the races now because of this. Those people were obviously never really fans to begin with if they’ll stop watching over this. I doubt any other racing series would advocate flying the flag either.
The Excursion is still quite a bit smaller than some versions of the pickup truck on which it is based. That goes for the GM and Chrysler trucks as well.
