Yeah, if they want to raise the speed limits near Chicago, they should do it in steps. Raise it up to 70 then go higher maybe after that. That or tear down the entire interstate and rebuild the whole thing. Though that's not a realistic option.

In southern Illinois I'm sure the speed limits would be fine. Less traffic than near Chicago, so less wear and tear on the road. Plus the limit wouldn't necessarily need to be unlimited, just raise it to about 90 or 100. What part of Illinois are you from?
