I think we have stewardship over these old beasts and our job is to leave them better than we found them. keeping track of the money can only lead to regret. Heh.

I think the lot fills with slammed Hondas and Subarus with Plastidipped wheels because the kids have the excitement to get up before sunup and drive to a parking lot.

Thankfully, nobody sits by their car here in Vegas. It is nice to look at cars without being yammered at. I park my car and hope I can walk away without anyone catching me.

I plan on going eventually. I work from home so an $80,000 car makes no sense.

I would like to subscribe to your rebuild newsletter, sir! That looks like a great project.

Really? If I still owned a Porsche (for example) and wanted another one I would sure as hell go to the dealership. Hell, I used to go to the dealership once in a while just to look at the new ones. Heh.

When you buy your Pantera, find the absolute best one you can find/afford. A project Pantera is a financial death wish. The wide body cars should not be owned by introverts. Having said that, they are crazy fun cars and everyone should know great they are.

Ha! I would totally look at the Tesla at C&C...and I own a 550hp Pantera which gets 8mpg. I don't like smug assholes, but I like the idea of Teslas.

I live in Vegas and we have Diablos a plenty. Love those cars.

I didn’t really catch that it was in Colorado when I read your first post. I am 95% certain I saw this house in person the other day. We took a vacation in Vail and drove past it on the way to and from Denver, right? I didn’t notice it on the way up to Vail but saw it on the way back.

Nice find. Pretty sure that car is gold. Heh.

I did look at a bunch of photos online and have become obsessed with this color. Light sources obviously play a huge role in what this color looks like and I can’t wait to see one in person. I might actually drive to the Porsche dealer to check it out when I get the chance. Probably should ask them if they have one

I saw your dash cam of that drive. In the theatre. Wait, what?

Wow. I am now completely dissatisfied with where I live. I want to live in that house and nowhere else.

Agreed, it is a very red orange. So very red that it is really, pretty red. The word “lava” allows it to be something other than orange and it is shockingly not the “very orange” I was expecting from the description in the story.

Yup, and Lava Orange isn’t very orange. Discussing color can be much like discussing about what is funny, or what is art.

Oh sure, it might be “Lava Orange” but it is barely “orange” and it certainly isn’t “very orange” as described. Heh.

It has been brought to my attention that the color is called “Lava Orange” therefore it is orange. I think Porsche is using “Lava” to mean “not very orange, especially when compared to our last GT3 RS which definitely VERY ORANGE.” Heh.

I have become fascinated by this color, which seems to really look different in different lighting conditions. Sure, the official name has orange in it, but it isn’t very orange.

That was so fun I have let it run in the background for a while so I can listen as I work.
