Are expensive collectables the only reason to make a knife (or anything) in this way? I appreciate people who make long-lasting, high-quality objects but the inefficiency can only be profitable by selling it as a benefit, right? I suppose it also adds exclusivity because how many can be made in a year?

Look for something rare and you probably won't even be able to find one in your state.

The joke on the forums for my car is, "AC works, but not charged." Never works once charged.

At the end everyone was not only alive, but upright. Doesn't seem so dangerous.

Ha! No, is it like trying to get into a Pantera with a skirt on? Uhhhh, that makes it sound like I wear skirts, doesn't it?

Yeah, I wish I had all that stuff for the street. I didn't appreciate the nannies until I started driving something with 550 hp and zero modern safety devices. It is thrilling, but at the expense of safety.

Why do idiots turn their traction control off? The belief that they, like the Stig, need to turn TC off in order to get 100% performance is so alarmingly delusional. Having an old car which tries to kill me whenever I drive it aggressively makes me wish I had traction control, ABS and airbags. This is like the people

I wanted a BRZ/FRS until everyone seemed underwhelmed by it. I was hopeful for a turbo version but that seems dead.

Heh, I would read any story about this car - no matter how old. I wish we could buy it.

I got indignant when you said ANY car but the De Tomaso Pantera IS in there. Apparently I can get above 200mph with my 550 horsepower (although I'm not how much the wide body cars differ in drag - I know I need to remove my wing for top speed) and I am psyched.

That was fun! I have an xB and I like it because 1) it holds more stuff than my other cars 2) I don't even want to go fast in the thing. I just listen to the radio and cruise along with traffic. I am always frustrated someone is in front of me when driving my other cars.

I dropped to the gray across the Gawker network during the Great Porn Porn Avalanche. I barely post any more...it is like yelling into the wind. Or is it "pissing in the wind?" Whatever, it is like something in the wind.

Only $15,000? Damn, can I get an M5 V10 to fit in a De Tomaso Pantera? Hmmmmmm.

This post is a year old so I don't remember all the details. Having said that, this car doesn't have a back seat. Does it?

Ugh, I lost all posting approvals across Gawker during the porn avalanche. I don't even know why I post any more. It is like talking into the wind. :-)

I figured the CPA was correct on that. I would have used the Google machine to double check if I had concerns but my (soon to be ex-) wife and I really like each other so there was nothing to fight over, no animosity and no rush to be divorced. Totally worth the tax benefits.

I divorced this year and our accountant said to file at the end of the year so it goes through the court in 2015. She said it just guarantees there is no issue with the IRS about filing joint-married for 2014. Having said that, our attorney claims that isn't really an issue so maybe they should chat. We went ahead and

Great story!

I live in Vegas and took the tour recently. It was more fun than expected. They have a historian who tells great stories.

Ha! That didn't seem like accordion overdrive at all. He didn't break loose going 60 MPH at full throttle in a mid-engine crazy machine. NOT THAT MY SPECIFIC EXAMPLE HAS ANYTHING TO DO WITH ME!
