Think about this, you have a truck with a rather deep fording ability, and are told there are people who need your help on the other side of this water crossing. One your not sure how deep it is, but if you dont try people may lose there lives. Would you try it, or stay were its shallow and safe?

Im not sure how a 32 ford roadster, is not a roadster! hahahahahaa.

I think the "rule" in most states/car shows is 25 years old. I am pretty sure they didnt make Miatas in 1986. Even then, I have a hard time calling anything with modern EFI a classic, but thats just me. BTW, that is not "the" iconic roadster... see attached pic!

T bucket! Some really nice hemi powered examples can go for 20k, but there was a really nice 350/350 bucket in my area for sale recently for 4k. Even with a mild v8, these things weight so little they are stupid fast without alot of hp. Most are fiberglass "23" tubs, but real steal cars are out there, but for more

Not sure how that is a classic. Good buy for under 5k I agree, but I dont see it as a classic.

Whats not to understand? You hook a pickup or tractor to a sled, that gets progressively harder to pull as it goes down the track. The guy with the best time or most distance wins. It may sound boring, but it is ALOT of fun to watch, especially watching the street legal trucks.

Outlander you say? That might be interesting! I know about the flares and all that. While it would be a pain, I think the rear would be do-able. As for the wider track, I would want use very bit of the EVO suspension, and would probably have to put some of the floor pan of the evo into the wagon so every thing bolts

You see that little red piece by the rear taillight? Thats what totaled this car. Some one backed into it in a parking lot, it got turned into the insurance because that was the right thing to do. At the body shop that little used part turned out to be $50 from a junkyard, $100 to paint, and then $500 to blend the

I have never seen these before, and am now in love. I must have one, even if it means moving to japan where shoes will not fit me and I will hit my head on every doorway. It would be worth it!

I dont have a hard time believing is the first time a bone stock A's tires have touched the salt...

Looks like Chevrolet has a problem, making their cars very easy to steal. Would make me nervous to buy one.

A while back I feel in love with LS swaps. I had to have one, after a buddy of mine swapped a Ls1 into a second gen Rx7, and was getting almost 30mpg in it, while have way more power and reliability then the big-turbo rotary he removed. Problem was I really need 4 doors, and at least 4 seats to be able to drive it as

I like how the rollbar is lower then the top of his head. Some great engineering going on!

I agree 100%.

I think the big problem with the 8 was the perfomance, or well lack off. It also had no flagship model. With the second gen RX, you could dream of a Turbo-II, while driving a base model. While the 8 only had one model. Same goes with like a mustang, do you think they would sell as many v6 cars if they GT and shelby

I guess I misunderstood the other post. I thought it was for kids that payed for their own college and were broke. Not the student loan/rich parents type of college kid.

Ive found them before, will find them again. If you know what you are looking for, lebaron GTC stuff is also a good substitute. The early model Turbo Z's had decent suspension, and the turbo Z CS package actually has the highest factory spring rate. It all interchanges. Ive found all of those cars in yards BTW. They

Any 80's K based Turbo Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth. They are super reliable if maintained properly, and parts are dirt cheap. Want to rebuild the motor? A ring and bearing kit is 150 bucks. Want it to handle better? Go to the junkyard and pull all the suspension off of a shelby daytona, and the bolt it on to your turbo

Try one that was disassembled down to every nut and bolt, 5 years ago by two guys that are no longer with us. The "tub" is a completely different county then the frame and motor. The frame was sandblasted 7 years ago and left outside. While it was in storage someone "stole" the front clip and doors that are 70
