They sold the liberties as a diesel for a while, and they sold QUICK. Used ones never stay on a lot for very long if they are well advertised (CL or autotrader). IMO there HAS to be a reason the quit selling them here other then the don't want to. I am sure the the EPA has something to do with it.

The car thief should feel lucky. The owner of the car should have killed him and did all of us a favor. We use to hang people in the country for stealing horses and now a car thief gets a slap on the wrist IF the police bother to try catching them.

One thing I noticed working at a dealer is rubicons seem to go off-road, at least at a higher ratio then most 4x4's.

I think if jeep could build them with diesels they would. The CRD libertys are a hot item at any dealer. But, they way our emissions testing is done in this country they are really hard to get past the EPA. At least thats how I understand it. When you are buying a "appliance" do you look at the warranty, or just buy a brand name and cross your fingers and hope for the best? A 100k warranty goes a long way with me.
