I thought the Prelude’s was speed dependent - up to a certain mph, they turned in opposite directions; at higher speeds, they turned in the same direction. I wasn’t aware that the MX-6 & Skyline offered 4WS.

Some four wheel steering systems automatically switch between counter steering at low speed and steering the same direction (complementary steering?) at some higher speed.  But I don’t know of any previous street vehicle that allows manually selecting either mode.

I’m from upstate NY. The first time I was in NJ I was around 20. I stopped to get gas, got out of my car and some middle-aged dude starts yelling “Get back in your fucking car, idiot!”

There is no possible way this is true.

I lived in Portland for eleven years. The one drawback the legislature won’t let on about: interminably long lines to wait for gas, especially at peak driving hours, like 5pm.

When I lived in NYC we would mercilessly mock NJ. Later we realized that every bad thing we ever said should actually have been applied to Long Island. NJ, it ain’t so bad.

Dashcams should be standard, perhaps even legally mandated on cars. This is especially true on cars with cameras already integrated for safety features, just give me an SD card slot to capture the video on. I feel so dumb with a dashcam right next to my Eyesight cameras in my Outback. I know Teslas and C8 Corvettes…

So much this. A lot of newer cars that have AA or CarPlay have spot for your phone but on too many of them it is not big enough for the phone to sit flat with the cable plugged in.

How about just a simple smartphone holder integrated into the dash or console? Or at least a standardized mount for aftermarket holders.

its 2021. there is no reason for any company to be using halogen bulbs. xenon should be standard with led being premium.

The worst is LED “replacement” bulbs in a reflector housing designed for a filament bulb. Those kinds of bulbs may indeed fit and plug in to the back of the headlight housing, but they often do not offer near the same light pattern as the original bulb.
