I probably would've put it in an envelope and mailed it with one stamp. Granted, I doubt I would find just their ID and find their wallet, in which I would just put it in a USPS flat rate box and mail it to them.

Something I never see anyone do, which surprises me, is the following:

You would give a crap about what?

At least it's only wet... you should see the men's toilets.

Ok so all we need to do then is attach a heatsink to the pin. Is that a geek solution or what? : )

Since mine didn't make the cut. I'll drop it in the comments since it can potentially save you quite a bit of money when you want to go on vacation.

Mine is 100% overkill for what I use it for. I get a little bit of gaming in but other than that I'm almost always using it for watching TV shows, browsing and music management. For that I have 3 monitors, Rampage IV Formula, i7 3820, 16gb RAM, 120gb SSD, 2TB internal hdd, 750w PSU and an EVGA 680 4GB FTW all in an

You've foiled our plans! I guess I should take the Show Us Your House in Street View post off the list.

You just made my day... I'm literally in pain from laughing so hard at your comment... Thank you :)

Would be nicer if it activated a battery backup system or something similar. If your sump pump craps out on you, it is unlikely that your neighbor is going to be able to do anything about it and unless only your home is being swamped, the plumber is going to be busy. More piece of mind would be from a way to verify

We subsidize "foodstuffs", but not actual food.

This thread makes me smile. I'm glad the people here who can evaluate Win8 objectively, rather than just more baseless flaming I see most other places. This is why I love LH!

You just pulled that from an episode of How I Met Your Mother.... I'm on to you Whitson....

I use both, I have to admit. I use Google Calendar for coordinating with coworkers and to make it easier for my wife to send me appointments. But I also have a big paper monthly calendar on my desk that I use for my own schedule. I just can't give it up.

Ethernet cables come in all colors. But those meant for running inside walls are usually more limited when it comes to color choices (and since it is inside the wall, you won't see it anyway). Those designed for inside wall use are meant to burn without giving out toxic fumes. You'll also want solid core (as opposed

I'm a SysAdmin professionally, though I've used both at home for years prior. To be honest, it's a matter of budget and purpose more than anything.

Mac, since I can run Windows VMs on it. (Not the other way round.) I develop for OS X and iOS, and use Windows for SAP ABAP Work. (I'm an Android user however)

The main reason I prefer windows is hardware support. I use my computer for 3rd party GUI's and they all run on windows exclusively. Until companies move to browser based applications, all of my automotive and automation controllers (ignition and EFI controllers, building controllers, and the like) will remain on

Depends on what you plan on using the operating system for. The average user probably should stick with Windows especially all you plan on doing is using email, surf web, download/install programs and etc.

I have been an avid Mac hater for years. My wife bought a macbook pro, that I secretly like.
