“the game was just shit.”
“the game was just shit.”
It seems more greasy than anything to me. A big money company trying to buy talent and fans rather than cultivate. I think it would be much more interesting if we knew how much they offered.
“To wit”
Also, I think you were trying to say “Cryptapologist” not “Crytapologist”. You got a little too worked up there, bud
You’re here to watch people get pissy? You need some fresh air.
You’ve missed the point. The point of the post you’re replying to is about the fact that the author of this article only gave us a portion of the story and disregarded an important chunk.
“...IBILITY”
Who would think that’s stupid?
They still can depending on the joke. Words aren’t “banned”. You need context. It’s like it’s enough for people to just hear that someone said a certain word and that’s enough to write them off. No need for context or set up or intent. They said the cursed word so they’re done!
You’re just reading lines plucked from the special with no context. You seem to side with “Some things can NEVER be said otherwise you’re wrong and bad”
Within context of a stand up set, “Team White Nationalist” could be pretty fuckin funny.
In this thread is a bunch of people who think “I don’t even need to watch it to know for a fact that it’s wrong and harmful!”
Did you even watch it or are you just riding the wave of inclusionary outrage?
That actually sounds pretty funny. In the right context, yes that can be funny.
“Go on, I’ll wait.”
“Never saw your standup.”
“Dude, it’s just bad material.”
Did you watch the special? This has been going on for years. Articles written than pull a line from a special, quote it, and then say “See? look how bad that is.” with zero context.
I must have watched a different special than the author of this article did...and the first person shooter thing. It’s ham handed but it makes sense. You can play a violent video game and not be violent. You can watch a “shocking” stand up special and not be harmed. I read an article somewhere else and the guy wrote…
No. This one is themed after that show called Squid Game on Netflix.
