Maybe I’m missing something; why have all that complication for the coffee machine? Why make different buttons for different sizes? Just have 1 nozzle and button per variety of coffee. That’s worked for soda machines for decades.

At level 1 it’s impossible; you’ll have a few dozen gold by the time you hit max level in a couple of months. Once you hit max level you’re going to need to play a ton to pay off the subscription. It really isn’t worth it.

Dark Souls makes me hold the controller that way. How else am I supposed to sprint, look around, and attack at the same time? Any thing else is risky.

Yeah, I bought a 6 month code from Amazon for like half price and I’m just sitting on it until I either get an Xbox One or more PC titles are added. As a Windows user it just isn’t worth it right now.

For more detail, here is MS’ answer to that question from their FAQ:

How much do you think this service costs? Either AAA games have dropped in price by 92% since the last time I was a console gamer or you don’t know what you’re talking about. Xbox Game Pass is $10 per month, has no commitment, and all of the games are there to see prior to subscription.

Yes, here it is. Just don’t try to change the sorting method or it’ll for some reason show you a bunch of games that aren’t actually Play Anywhere titles.

Jeez, I can’t even coordinate with one person while trying to play Katamari. Doing it with 3 people is going to be nigh impossible.

Those ankles are his Achilles heels.

I’ve always associated Dark Souls with D&D due to its vast lore and the amount of player agency in play style. Obviously, Dark Souls isn’t the D&D of video games, but this seems like a pretty natural adaptation. I’m curious to see how this plays out for that group.

I actually learned about Orange Caramel through Roommates, a Real World/Big Brother esque reality show which places several celebrity strangers into a house together. Nana was one of the roommates. The dance from Catallena must’ve been poorly performed dozens of times in the first season.

Price’s comment is bizarre. That wasn’t a man pretending they know better than a woman; it was a gamer pretending to know better than a developer. Not every exchange between a man and woman has sexual motivation. Her femininity didn’t have any place in the conversation until she gave it one. Hammers and nails, I guess

That’s the case with all cloud and streamed gaming though, unfortunately.

I’m personally interested in the creative process, both in video games and out. That’s why I’m sitting on a bunch of book proofs; it’s cool to see how a work has changed since its earlier state of development.

Well Steam really bungled the “Steam Machine” thing. It was hardly advertised, they licensed the name to 3rd party manufacturers, and there wasn’t really any quality control on them. It was a half-ass attempt, and everyone knew it. It was further damaged by running a Linux operating system, which relatively few people

Steam Link is a neat device, and I like mine a lot, but it just streams content from your PC. In other words, if your Mac can’t run a game then the Link won’t help you. That having been said, there are quite a few excellent games available for Mac through Steam.

I don’t think it ran out of steam; the problem, as I see it, was that the massive success early in the series caused the editor assigned to the series to put too much trust in Kubo. As a result, Tite Kubo came up with some batshit ideas, as many writers do, and his editor was incapable of or unwilling to say no, so it

I was actually thinking of the heat sink on top. Either way, I’m wrong.

We should start a pool for how long it takes for Hi-Rez to fuck it up or abandon it.

The niche accessories that gamers come up with are fascinating.
