It’s a remaster, not a complete remaake. This seems consistent with other remasters. They cleaned up the line work, made colors more vibrant, and replaced the lighting effects. I think it does a pretty good job of making it look less dated.

I mean, if this was a televised show then that’d make sense, but since this is an online series where the entire back catalog is available for streaming there’s nothing to miss. You can still have your watching party.

Their defense is that A Day at the Carnival is for kids, but they make no such claim about The Call of the West and it looks just as shitty. Moreover, there are other simple children’s games (like Wii Sports) which are made for children, are simple both in terms of gameplay mechanics and visuals, and come nowhere near

This was a great story. A few suggestions to help alleviate your situation:

That was absolutely the case in the normal playthrough. Besides the fact that combat just meant you’d destroy your equipment, there wasn’t really any payoff. Enemies rarely, if ever, had weapons worth taking off their corpses, by the end of the game you were drowning in monster parts, and generally it was easy enough

The Geese is leese.

It makes the audience smaller if the film was entirely in German. There’s a stigma against foreign films, and a portion of moviegoers that outright refuse to watch films with subtitles. I’m sure the film could be a hit in Germany if it got a full theatrical release there, but a Japanese studio isn’t going to make

The reason is pretty obvious. It’s because the actress is Japanese and Japanese natives don’t have naturally blond hair. I’m in complete support of this decision, honestly. Whenever there’s an anime adaptation that tries to mimic the anime characters’ hair styles/colors it always results in disgusting, obviously very

~100USD isn’t bad - it’s about how much frames cost in my area.

I’m only half surprised. I mean, we were all pretty sure that the Switch would replace the 3DS, but Nintendo said in no uncertain terms that was not the case and it would continue supporting the 3DS for the forseeable future.

God damn it, are you going to make me watch TNG for the third time in the past five years?

C like cent, U like scrub, and A like April.

How dare you break my circlejerk? Get the fuck out!

Life in Aggro is consistently (possibly) the best drawn web comic which keeps a regular schedule. I’m impressed with the art every week, but this one sort of goes beyond that. It’s a really great meld of their own art style and Persona’s aesthetic -the opening frame is fantastic.

Any idea if the Lastpass voucher works for existing accounts? IIRC, the last bundle it was in specifically said that it could only be redeemed on new accounts.

I got Sparrow Genji, but I already have Sentai Genji, so I’m never going to use it.

Well this reveal would certainly explain the C&D to AM2R.

Wow, I really hate that art style. Almost as much as I hate the idea of bastardizing a classic movie years after the fact for a completely unrelated marketing campaign.

Something like that, but that probably includes grannies who only play Wii Sports bowling and the super casuals who only play Angry Birds or something.

I’m kind of surprised MS hasn’t integrated the OS-tans into Windows.
