Too bad, it looks like I’ll never finish this game. I played it for a few hours and I can’t bring myself to dedicate any more time because it runs like ass. I’m talking 10-15 FPS. It’s borderline unplayable.

IDK, Digimon games are pretty distinct from Pokemon once you get past the whole “monsters as pets” concept. It’d be difficult to make the argument that any Digimon game is similar to core Pokemon games. I’ll give you the anime though, they’re pretty damn similar, but what do you expect from a shonen series?

I like how you missed the point. The Mario comparison was hyperbole.

You just described a downgrade.

That has been going on for a lot longer than Watch_Dogs. It was also a big deal with Far Cry 3. I’m sure there are notable examples prior to Far Cry 3 as well. The point is, this isn’t a new phenomena.

Because Youtube’s compression algorithm makes it unclear if Super Mario Sunshine looks better than Super Mario 64?

Something about that image reminds me of Silly Putty.

Ready at Dawn is more like second party - develops almost exclusively for Sony consoles. AFAIK, Okami is the only non-Sony game they’ve done.

Not really, although I guess using the mouse (wiimote) to draw is kind of novel. Interestingly enough, Capcom Japan refused to give Ready at Dawn the source code, so the game had to be reverse engineered.

About the same amount of the article I’d cut off. Superfluous and self-indulgent, it is a victim of its time, where everyone seems to think that their shared anecdote is deep, insightful, and wholly unique. In reality, it is lucky to be one of the three; this one falls short in all three criteria.

That one was featured last week, IIRC.

But Sunday is date night. You know, dinner, cheap wine, Redbox movie, and going anal.

Now playing

Avenue Q is massive on the internet. Some of the oldest AMV I can remember are based off of it. Maybe you’re more familiar with this song:

Film and TV have been required to have subtitles for the longest time. Isn’t it strange that video games have a tendency to half-ass it, if they bother including captions at all?

I just can’t stop thinking about how strange Pikachu looks.

Literally the only time I opened the Youtube app was to gain access to the homebrew launcher and install a secondary entrypoint.

I doubt it. The book version paints him as looking really monstrous. Dinklage, at his worst, is panty-dropping and tidal-flood inducing by comparison.

Memers gonna meme.

“Sony Computer Entertainment America would like to express our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you.”

I don’t think anyone with a Vita is under the illusion that they’re a huge market force. More like they’re pissed that they supported the games that were released in their region and got spat at afterwards.
