That’s totally fine IMO. I don’t like Battlefront BECAUSE it’s a Star Wars game. It’s a great series that happens to have a Star Wars theme. Stripping the theme doesn’t make it a crap game.

Someone saying “when I was a kid” isn’t really a good indication of the passage of time. Kids go from thirteen to fifteen and suddenly everything they did when they were thirteen was “when I was really little.” Since our scale of time (young people’s) is so short, a year could seem like a huge chunk of time.
