Yeah, they’re getting a decent payoff from Patreon, about $2000 per month, IIRC. Keep in mind though that that’s split between two devs and they’re working on this full-time. Not really much of incentive - $12-24k per year isn’t great pay for full-time work. Hopefully they’ll get more patrons to give them further

Dolphin’s community is pretty amazing. The fact that they’ve managed to keep the ball rolling for as long as they have really speaks to how well managed the top devs keep the project.

You could. Dolphin also supports proper Wii remotes. You’d need a bluetooth adapter to connect the controller and a sensor bar for the pointing, but it is the most authentic way to play.

Cemu’s amazing progress and the fact that it’s closed source is a bit suspect. A lot of people think that they’re using stolen Nintendo code.

That’s really condescending. I made an error in my comment, not on the url.

Hmm, oddly enough, I just went to nightdrivestudios.com (their official website) and after clicking on a few links it opened freeads5.com, (which loads a random ad page each time you visit it,) which then redirected me to a scam site telling my my PC was infected and to “call Microsoft” through this toll free number

What do you call Shithead when he’s being a shithead?

I know someone named Dick Arse. The Dick Butt jokes were intense.

A Chao raising game and/or another Sonic RPG. I really liked Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood despite how painfully easy it was. If BioWare got another crack at it, I’m sure they can do something good with the IP. Unfortunately, now that BioWare is tethered to EA, I doubt that’s going to happen.

This has always bothered me. Why top 12? Is it just for the sake of not making a top 10 list?

Well you can hide games from your library now, so you don’t need to scroll through mountains of trash anymore. I can now hide the shame that is Bad Rats from my library.

If you’re using 5 TB for storage and 5 TB to backup the exact same data (10 TB total) then you only have 5 TB of unique data.

Seems a bit excessive. I use my current external hard drive for all of the stuff I don’t use on a regular basis, but the stuff that I really need, (a few gigs worth of documents and some game save data,) is backed up to two cloud storage providers as well.

he throws a lot of shit at the wall and not all of it sticks.

It’s pretty annoying that Kinja replaces the original publishing date with the date the article was promoted again.

experiences the horrors of dial up internet. The sound still scares me to this day.

Uh, isn’t Unity primarily a 3d game engine? I’ve heard from several people that Unity is worse at 2D than 3d.

Ethics aside, I would’ve really liked to see it posted online. Most of us weren’t at E3 and are dying to play the demo. Given how easily the Wii U currently is to hack, (at least until the next firmware update breaks our entrypoint,) a lot of people could’ve enjoyed it.

And D-Va is a Dorito eating monstrosity.

Life in Aggro hits home this week. It’s always a dilemma - choosing between preserving my collection and breaking those bad boys open and enjoying them. This wouldn’t be an issue if I could purchase multiple copies, but that isn’t the hand I’ve been dealt.
