Oh, that’s actually really nice. I’m surprised they’re willing to do that. That hadn’t been announced at the time of my comment, otherwise I wouldn’t have made it.

Exactly, Skyrim isn’t outdated enough to get make me purchase it a second time.

Probably the least exciting thing announced so far. The mod support is nice, but meh. I’d be really amazed at a Morrowind or even Oblivion port/remaster with mod support.

You know, at this point I’d be more surprised if Anker wasn’t on sale. Their stuff has been discounted for like a month straight.

This was a totally worthless video. I wouldn’t mind the lack of gameplay if they actually said what they were working on, but that wasn’t the case.

it embraced cheap deaths and gimmick stages.

That was my first thought. Kotaku has seen three(?) departures in less than a year. It seems a bit odd given the timing with the lawsuit, but it’s probably just coincidence. I’m sure, however, that the bankruptcy announcement made leaving just a bit easier for Richard.

Once again, PC gamers get shafted by Microsoft despite their supposed commitment to gaming with Windows 10. It’s kind of a joke at this point.

They actually made a sequel called Triad Wars and it was pure shit. It was online only with asynchronous multiplayer and no story. Basically, you’re the head of a triad, you had to build a base to make money and raid other triads’ bases to steal their money. It used the exact same map, engine, and gameplay mechanics

I probably should feel dirty for taking advantage of errors like these, but I feel nothing but joy. I got Metro Last Light after missing an Nvidia promotion by a single day, so fuck ‘em.

Inb4 a Pokemon J-pop song with Greninja as the center. I’m half expecting AKB48 to do a crossover just like when they made the NyaaKB sub-group for Yokai Watch.

She’s right, assuming that the purpose of sex ed is to educate people on how to enjoy sex rather than the mechanics of it. That’s an entirely different type of sexual education. There’s a place for it, but it’s probably not a high school classroom.

You know what I’ve always disliked about fighters as a casual player? The fact that it doesn’t tell you what buttons to press for specific moves. It’s always hk+lp+mp. As a kid I was like “what the fuck does that even mean?”

Or he just wants a free game.

How many civil wars are painted, in the United States, in the same ‘brother against brother’ light that the US Civil war is often painted in?

It really does. I remember when the image first started making its rounds. I thought it was totally legitimate because it’s exactly the type of thing that Kotaku, and Gawker Media in general, post. Of course, when I went to Kotaku to find the article, I couldn’t.

He’s shared some stuff from Quebec and Taiwan, so he’d probably run a photo from Rhode Island provided it’s good. He’s probably just getting more submissions from Japan or more generally interested in Japan than other areas.

I really think that KotakuEast, specifically these photos, should be spun off into their own sub-site like steamed.kotaku.com or cosplay.kotaku.com. You can put all of the anime and non-video game Japanese stuff in their and just promote the most prominent articles on the main Kotaku site.
