Even so, it feels like there are two variations - brawlers and blasters. There isn’t a big difference between, for example, a Freiza brawler and a Human brawler, as far as I can tell. Their stats are a bit different, but in terms of how you would play them, they’re the same.

You realize that normal fighting games usually have four to six attack buttons, right? Dragonball Xenoverse had three - strong attack, weak attack, and ki blast. Ki blast is basically dead because it doesn’t combo into much, so two viable attack buttons.
