Music composed for a specific game isn’t always appropriate. Take Grand Theft Auto, they have several in-game radio stations. As a player, would you prefer listening to contemporary pop music or an original soundtrack created by Crush 40 on loop?

I believe that’s the case. Amazon lists it as Steam DRM, so I would assume they purchased X licenses and will continue selling them until they run out, at which point they’ll be told that they can’t restock.
