Yup. I’ve been playing it on and off for the past few months, but I’m just not into it at all. Up to this point only a small portion of the map has been unlocked - like 1/5th, and while all of Sleeping Dogs’ mechanics are in place, the pacing and repetitive nature of Triad Wars sucks the fun right out of it.

I’d say that the Eidos side of the business is doing alright, but Theif and Triad Wars (the sequel to Sleeping Dogs) were both missteps, and Just Cause 3 turned out to be just an okay game. Square might be circling the drain in terms of quality, but we’ll see.

Now I’m kind of wishing I’d bought one of the many decent PS Vita deals throughout November. I could’ve finally caught up on some of the PS3 exclusives I missed out on.

I doubt it’ll crash and burn. Cloud gaming has been around for five years (OnLive, which was purchased by Sony and parts of which absorbed into Playstation Now,) and subscription gaming has been around for 10 years (GameTap.)

This is perhaps the biggest non-issue in recent gaming controversies. Voice actors play characters which don’t resemble them all the time. Phil LaMarr, a black man, played a Japanese character, Jack, in Samurai Jack. H. Jon Benjamin, perhaps the schlubbiest looking celebrity of all time, plays Archer, an spy and lady

Eh, that’s just the industry making the most of the situation. For the past 10 years people have wanted to play games early, I’d even say that they were clamoring to get into public betas. It only makes sense that devs and publishers would see this and try to make a buck off of it.

I’m just not sure why it’s suddenly an issue. Leia has worn that outfit for the past 30 years. It’s not like Disney’s acquisition of the series means that kids are watching Star Wars for the first time. Star Wars has been popular with kids for as long as I can remember - even the prequels.

You’ll never not be a loser. Just accept it.

Eh, I wouldn’t expect them to release them much cheaper than that, but I’m not really willing to pay that price either. I’m more than content to wait until a nice discount comes along. For what it’s worth, that’s a decent starting lineup.

Westwood was such a great studio. I’m still waiting on Nox 2, EA. Make it happen.

I’m not sure how they didn’t see this type of reaction coming. I mean, how many times in the past couple years has there been a massive backlash against some stupid pre-order incentive?

MGS takes like 12 hours to beat. Unless you’re a dynamo or plan to literally play the entire night I don’t see how this could be considered a one-night game. Twin Snakes is a bit shorter, but probably still too long to play in one sitting.

He looks so coy.

It was bound to happen eventually. Project M was an absolutely fantastic mod - probably one of the most widely used in any video game. It’s sad to see it go, but I’m hopeful about what the team might do in the future - either together, or as individuals. I’m sure that after the amazing work they’ve done, both with the

I kind of wish that Nintendo and co. would just tell me I’m fucked and to upgrade already rather than making “suggestions” that we should upgrade. At this point it’s pretty clear that the 3DS isn’t doing too hot with some newer games.

“We don’t want to say we meant what we said before, (but we totally did.)”

I thought you were talking about Dead or Alive characters I actually searched for “Dead or Alive Anita” because I didn’t remember seeing any such character. Then I remembered Skarseesian. I have to say, not a big fan. I’m not sure what she could say about a game like DoAX. “Women are being objectified in this game

I’m hoping for a high quality photo so I can use it as my desktop wallpaper or use one of the characters as a phone wallpaper.

I’m pretty conflicted about it, but this is hardly the first time. It’s not unusual for buddhist temples or shrines to have an anime mascot or to have some sort of pop culture reference to attract kids - Hello Kitty was everywhere at one point. I’d imagine it’s effective since they keep doing it. Bottom line is, if
