21 y/o here, my first PC had MS-DOS on it. I didn't upgrade my PC until Windows 98 was a thing, then again for XP. Jazz Jackrabbit for days!

Try going to a game store and asking if they have a display model. Odds are that the cashier will allow you to hold one of their referbs if they don't have a kiosk.

Because these words aren't heavily used across the US right?

That's why I avoid cushioned seats with cloth upholstery; I bet at least one person wet farted or pissed themselves on that thing.

Do you mean that they had a wall of dead and pinned butterflies? My grandmother has a few monarchs in a glass display. What's pretty neat are butterfly gardens, there was one near Niagara Falls, Canada. You go in and it's basically a mini jungle with a walkway for people and it has a massive amount of butterflies.

I've never seen any men wear white pants and look good. White and off-white pants are pretty common on women.

Gameboy was the shit. I got my grey Gameboy Pocket as a Christmas present. A few years later I found a yellow Gameboy Color along with Pokemon Yellow in the parking lot of a bowling alley during a storm; miraculously, they both worked. Then in like 2008 I found a classic Gameboy while cleaning out a foreclosed home

It'd probably be impossible to refund everyone's money. Odds are that the studio already spent it or they're spending it on remaking the game.

That's pure genius. I already watched the whole series with Spanish subtitles, but next time I'll definitely utilize this trick. There seem to be a few issues with translation, especially when it comes to possessive pronouns, but that's a minor complaint. I really wish that more videos had actual captions though.

Weird that they made Japanese, Portuguese, and Spanish subtitles but completely neglected to make English subtitles in favor of Youtube's god-awful automatic captions.

The new version of the game will be free for those who already bought it. The developers are hoping to fix the AI, and add more game types, amongst other things. While they don't promise that the new version of Basement Crawl will be the best game ever, the fact they're going so far to make things right speaks volumes.

Ha, sorry.

I don't really see a gorilla. He's more muscular, sure, but that's what I'd expect when you swing around a sword the length of your body. A man who swings around an extremely top heavy sword for a living and doesn't have muscle just doesn't exist.

It's 1998 and I'm working at a multi-national bank. A co-worker and friend who got me the job plays more games than I do and sets up an emulator on my 486 computer at work and I play Ghosts N' Goblins for the first time since I was 11. Realizing it is way too hard, I switch to Ghouls N' Ghosts. It plays better, it's

I'm well aware of that.

There are tons of incriminating media about the US's embarrassments that are either made by Americans or released in America without censoring American imagery. The Nazi party was an embarrassment to humanity, but closing your eyes doesn't mean that it didn't happen. It's far more productive to have dialog about it

It depends on how it's drawn based on my experience. If it's a diamond (tilted) as it was in the Nazi flag then people tend to freak out. Also, I've noticed that it's less damning if it 1) has little dots in the empty spaces as found in Hindu imagery or 2) if it is left facing as found in eastern Buddhist imagery. It

They frequently do talk about it. It's taught in grade school and there were a ton of American made films, songs, and games about the embarrassment that was the Vietnam War. The difference is that the US doesn't censor anything about that period of its history, which means that it isn't pushed in to the limelight
