That made me a huge PA Works fan. I don't think any of their works since then have lived up to it, but it is a pretty high bar.

Which is why I didn't suggest the PC version.

It seems strange that they're blanket ending services. I understand that they want to focus on the Wii U and 3DS, and that the 3DS is three years old already. I would think that they should systematically turn their servers off. This especially applies to Super Smash Bros., shouldn't they wait until the new one is

You could make the argument that she was dressed as princess Garnet from FF9's opening sequence.

FF7's graphics aged very poorly, but 8 and 9's are decent. If you play it through an emulator (using your official game disk of course) then you don't get the issue pictured above.

I can't tell if you don't know what a decade is, what the year is, or if I missed something.

Yeah, Toradora is pretty fantastic. It was my favorite for a while, but then I saw Hanasaku Iroha. I highly recommend it. Also, if you haven't seen it then I'd recommend Welcome to the NHK. It is a little weird, but funny and sad and all good.

Skyrim was no more ambitious than Oblivion, and far less ambitious than Morrowind. It was a buggy mess on release, and it is still loaded with a shit ton of bugs. Really the thing that makes Skyrim great is its potential. Thanks to mods the horizons of the game are really stretched to their limits. The game was good,

So even after Fable 3's release you still had hope for the series? What a loyal fan.

I'm sure that my grandmother will come and tell me how she heard about this on the news. My eyes might roll so hard that I am permanently stuck looking at the inside of my eye sockets.

Or option c, I could donate to them and disable the ad.

Kotaku is viewed as a fairly legitimate news site. They've broken several stories, and they get exclusive scoops from time to time. Also, Kotaku's former editor was called one of the 20 most influential people in gaming by GamePro back in 2009, and one of Edge's top 50 game journalists back in 2006. A noteworthy

lol, that might be going a little too far.

I've switched from Adblock Plus to Adblock Edge. Recently Plus has been letting a lot of (admittedly unobtrusive) ads, so I switched to Edge, which doesn't whitelist advertisers who pay them.

Maybe you can scrapbook your existing wedding photos. Or you can recreate the original photos if you ever do a renewing of vows.

That might work in the short term, but nickle and diming customers would almost assuredly break any and all ties that Nintendo currently has with their fans. For a long-term company like Nintendo who has been around since the advent of video games probably has interest in maintaining relationships.

What we're saying is that you should watch Japanese things, talk to native Japanese speakers, and ideally move to Japan in addition to receiving traditional lessons in Japanese.

It should really be a mix though. Listening to the words without any understanding doesn't help you at all. The only way that listening to a language helps is in learning the accents, slang, etc. It also provides a tool to help internalize the language.

From laughter? maybe.

I'm with you on this. I think that for the most part, this won't see mainstream success in film. I can imagine some indie films toying around with it and I wouldn't mind seeing it used a few times though. As you said though, the director shows you what he wants you to see and nothing else. I also imagine that a film
