I always play with subs, lately I've been having a hard time focusing on dialog if there is background noise or a lot of action. It isn't just video games either, the same applies to film and tv. I'm at the point where if it doesn't have subtitles then I just skip cutscenes (in games) or don't watch the tv show/movie.

I rarely watch live streams unless I want to scope out a game before buying it. I'll stream every once in a while though; mostly when my friends are bored and want to watch or if they want to spectate my LoL game without a 3 minute delay. I also have LoL Replay so when that rare pentakill happens, I have it recorded.

Yeah, I guess, though it is a pretty costly thing to rent. It isn't really conducive to what I want to do. I have a theater room in the basement and my goal is to set up the entire basement as a cinema with a popcorn machine and a couple of arcade cabinets. I'm holding off on that though because it is expensive though.

It wouldn't be worth it for an extended period of time TBH. It comes out to $900/year and functioning arcade cabinets (in good condition) go for like $2k, so if you're gonna have it for a few years then you're better off saving up and just buying one.
