This would only be true if there were one publisher, but that isn't the case. Publishers would need to competitively price their games. Ubisoft can't sell theirs for $80 if SquareEnix is selling theirs for $50. People would just avoid Ubisoft like the plague. You see the same thing happen with non-video game products.

Duke Nukem or Aliens? I would get Duke Nukem as part of a bundle (like the holiday 2k games bundles on Amazon, which were fantastic for the most part.)

Just above the NES.

I'm not sure that's exactly accurate. While he certainly has less to lose than AAA publishers, he could be losing potential customers. It's a gamble, really; will the publicity be enough to counter-act the amount lost through piracy?

Raspberry Pi is pretty cool. I've been watching it since it was first announced, although I haven't bought one since I don't have any use for it. It seems like a nice linux pc for basic web browsing and word processing; great for people who are too broke to afford a full pc.

That's true, it is pretty close to vanilla minecraft, but the biggest draw for minecraft on PC is modding. I'm not saying that the game is bad without mods, but it is certainly a way to spice up the game and get yourself interested again when you run out of steam.

My point is, most people wouldn't notice the difference or care. If an individual is building an economy class gaming pc for use in their living room then chances are that they're using the same television for another gaming device. If it is acceptable (to the individual) for an xbox or ps3 then it should be ample for

You forgot Super Smash Bros. which we also know very little about. I got a Wii U for christmas, and while I was skeptical about the hardware, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the touchscreen is very responsive and accurate. Similarly, the output on the screen is pretty crisp.

I'm not really sure that talk about a monitor, tv tuners, or cable boxes have any place in this article. Many TVs now accept VGA input, and most modern graphics cards have an HDMI output port, so having a compatible monitor shouldn't really be a huge issue unless you have a terribly outdated tv.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a vizio (a cheaper brand) and I've never experienced any noticeable latency on the screen. I've played everything from a Sega Genesis to a 360 and Wii U on this TV. I also have my PC hooked up to it. The only problem I had with it initially was that the whites were an off-white;

Yeah, she got a lot of shit for it when the public found out that she plays on the 360 instead of the PS3.

I've never dealt with Nintendo customer service, especially since most of my Nintendo stuff is no longer under warranty. Still, they can't be any worse than Asus' customer support. I bought a laptop from them, and when the graphics card started to poop out on me 6 months later, they basically gave me the finger.

I think it has more to do with the download time required. I know people who still don't have cable connection.

The character's name is Fiona. She only appears in one gender-bender episode. I think she has a second appearance scheduled this season. Of course, after her appearance, she blew up on the internet, leading to all sorts of fan fic.

If you really think about it though, both the "left" and "right" in America are very moderate. Consider the extremes of the left and right, for the right it would be a monarchy with a rigid social hierarchy, for the left it would be communism. Now glance back at what politicians are trying to sell you.

Well, they reserve the right to reject a port. I seriously doubt that they would want to hurt their relationship with a publisher like Ubisoft, which makes a big chunk of 360 game sales.

I have a feeling that people know, but respond anyway. IDK, maybe they just really want to speak their minds.

The truly important thing to ask when looking at these results is, "Who is being surveyed?" The survey is obviously a sample study, which leaves a huge possibility for bias. What race were the surveyed people? Ethnicity? Age? Socio-economic status? Location? Political standpoint? Are the surveyors blinded?

I got my Laserjet printer for free. That was a good day.

I didn't want to use an embedded video because it would give it away.
