I loved Alistair. Underneath this affable goofball was a guy deeply scarred by his past and fearful of what the future holds for him. He hid behind those silly remarks, and dorky comments..."Yes, swooping is bad..." to deflect the inner torment. I think that's why I loved Anders so much, too. When it came time to…
I'm just replaying it. Such a great game. DA2 wasn't as good as DAO, but it was still a really good game. I am nearly dancing in my seat. Love this series...maybe even more than Mass Effect, though I didn't know it until just now.
I must gleefully confess that I'm such a HUGE Dragon Age fan, that I clicked on this article just to get more...everything Dragon Age related. Every chance I get, I say: "If The Lord of the Rings and A Song of Ice and Fire were to have a love child...and that love child went epic, its name would be Dragon Age:…
Since TS4 just came out, I don't consider that "Keep playing". I'm enjoying it a lot, and I am excited to see where the game goes. I never got into TS3. I played it more when Island Paradise and Into the Hunger Games, I mean Into the FUTURE, came out. But, it wasn't long before I got bored. The Sims 2, however...to…
The entire Mass Effect series, Dragon Age: Origins, Fallout New Vegas, and....The Sims 2. I'll also add Portal to that list.
While this game isn't for me, I'm impressed by the effort. A lot of games can't successfully break the fourth wall. Sounds like this one blows a hole right through it and makes it stick with you. Thank you for sharing.
No worries there. I have too many other games to buy right now. MW3 is still on my Stack O'Shame. I may eventually pick it up, PC version, but it'll way down the road...probably during a sale.
In TS3, it wasn't a matter of ladders. Don't feel bad. They'd hop right out of the pool if you tried to drown them.
Sadly, it was that way in TS3. We got around it by building walls...or, I'd have my Sims do a breath holding contest until one died.
Divergent Trait...taps glass, sees is splinter, "This isn't real", glass shatters, Sim climbs out of pool.
In 2010, I discovered Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2. After playing them through for the umpteenth time since January, I was ready for a new RPG. My BFF told me to try this one...I was instantly hooked. I didn't play it into the ground like ME1 and ME2...but it was close. That was my year of gaming. by December 2010,…
awww crap, you're right. I do that ALL THE TIME. Still...been planning yo pick it up at some point.
Fair enough, but my question was more geared to whether or not I can go KB/mouse or if I need the controller.
Oh, one other thing...this is a pure button masher, right? I'll be best off using a controller?
I actually grabbed DS1 Prepare to Die Edition in the Steam Summer Sale. I think I'll grab the free DS2 edition, because...well...it's free. Then, I'll end up playing on per platform, lol. Thanks for the input.
Indirectly, Shepard does that when you're given the choice of saving the Destiny Ascension or focusing on Sovereign. Like Ashley and Kaiden, you're once again choosing who dies.
They are literally just a husk of what they were before. The person inside is dead, and all that's left is a robot in a flesh shell. Nothing sentient about them.
Jennifer Hale brought the character to life. I've played both ManShep and FemShep, and there's just no comparison. There's so much depth and emotion in the character, you become thoroughly attached to her.
