Doesn't matter. Unlike say Sonys "Reality Display", which is an empty term that means nothing, Steve Jobs actually defined exactly what a Retina Display is. So anything that meets that definition is technically a Retina Display, regardless of who makes them.

Yeah, that made me laugh too. XD

I'm not the one missing the point here, you are. I'm simply pointing out that you were wrong.

You are wrong. And here is why:

Don't be stupid, at the distances most people sit from their TVs any HDTV have a "Retina Display", even the lower density 720p ones.

They use the same type of parallax barrier screen the 3DS uses.

It only works in landscape mode, there is no 3D in portrait.

We've already seen people use it to play emulators and stuff. Basically the D-Pad and the rest of the buttons show up as a regular keyboard to the OS, so every game that works with the physical keyboard on the droid/etc should work with this out of the box.

Hopefully it's enough, but two phones are hardly a whole 3D platform.

...

Funnily enough that picture also neatly sums up my thoughts on your comment.

Your loss, I bet you're missing out on #Misfits as well.

I guess their marketing department is in the "all PR is good PR" camp...

It's the UV part of the sunlight that causes sunburns, so the UV thing actually makes perfect sense. Its possible to be allergic to UV in real life, the modern version of vampire lore just takes that and exaggerates it.

Goldeneye on the N64?

Yeah that movie was incredible, the final fight outside the building was some of the craziest shit I've ever seen in a movie. Especially since they didn't use wire work or CGI of any kind.

And here is Recession Era Batman.

The panel popping of to reveal the hidden bottle rocket was probably the best part XD
