@Sprzout: After the fans managed to petition to make the taun taun sleeping bag a reality they have started to use some of the April Fool's Joke products as a test.

@TareG: Because 99% of american smartphones does not have a front facing camera.

@stone500: When they moved around the not-XMB-anymore interface the front screen showed a yellow circle when (and where) they pressed on the back touch area.

@TareG: And when you play the 3DS each eye watch a completely regular 2D image.

@Sam Edwards: The app used changes in the magnetic field around the phone to detect metal objects, and because the phone is in one piece the metal in it doesn't move compared to the sensor.

I wonder if the weird 50 feet limit is because the were afraid online video-chat would turn into a sausage fest like chatroulette?

@Allisonaxe: Because having physical buttons for L2/R2 would make the thing even thicker than it already is.
