Great philosophy. I was a kid living on LI NY in the late 60s early 70s and my neighbor [i was friends with his kids] had an early 70s Stingray. He took me for a few rides in that thing and it made an everlasting impression. Well played, Chevy.

Your idea is just different. Intriguing but different. Sure NASCAR’s playoff system is hokey but so is DRS and Push to Pass, albeit that’s a bit of a gas engine to electric motor comparison. Just leave it alone especially since NASCAR spent so many consecutive years fucking with the format before finally settling.
