@Soulblighter: I am as well. To be fair, Americans don't know much about law or other subject either. With the current culture of distrusting the "elites", it doesn't look like it will get better.

@Soulblighter: While the average American has poor science skills, the American scientists seem to be doing quite well.

I saw the comments about the hard-to-remember name and I was like "big deal, just a name." Then I remembered my mom referring to "The Friendbooks" and realized we have a problem.

@Potentaint: Suppose I was, do you think that simply stating the fact would convince me? You really need to pick up a book about how to influence people. Usually people that aren't good at communicating are at least good at insulting people. That you aren't good at either frankly kind of worries me. Take care of…

@Kirril: Thanks for fleshing out those thoughts. Totally valid criticisms; the pacing was very slow, hard to connect with characters, etc..

@Potentaint: At least my comment had something to do with the topic of the post. In you come, completely off topic, telling people whether they are or aren't assholes. What, did you get elected internet police? No? Now look who's the asshole.
