Really missing a tweet from the thread about how using “daddy” in a sexual context is misappropriation of the gay community.

“An entire character ended so abruptly and lazily.”
Quit being a pedant.
It entertains me that you think that’s just a pedantic difference.
I actually think none of the parties involved should be fined (shocker!), but I’m not the one who cooked up the stupid rule (as a PR fix for the fact that they kept fining players for wearing unapproved cleats) and then enforced it arbitrarily.
(Also it’s telling that you mentioned DGB’s salary when he makes the least of the three players by far.)
Religious organizations are tax-exempt. Religions writ large are not (I don’t even know what that would mean).
The point is the NFL regularly excuses their bad PR decisions by saying, “the rules are the rules.” All of the players involved are in equal violation of the rule. You open yourself up to legal issues by blatantly arbitrarily enforcing the rule.
The real story is that they didn’t fine some of the Eagles players like Carson Wentz and Zach Ertz for wearing cleats with Bible verses that aren’t tied to any particular charity or foundation.
Let it not be forgotten that before the election Jost and Che were saying that Trump is a genius and smarter than all of the people who are criticizing him. Jost is not particularly smart or liberal.
They’d probably get the highest possible comp pick for Collins anyway if they kept him, so this makes especially little sense in a year where the Pats are clearly the best team in the league.
The obvious problem with abolishing the electoral college in favor of the popular vote is that candidates will win with a low percentage of votes (who wants a Presidents who only got 30 percent of the votes?) and this will reward extremist/regional candidates (we’d have already had a Donald Trump, George Wallace, or…
Jared cites Chavez’s testimony as support for their finding; Judge instructed them to only consider her testimony for the sake of damages. Judge made a huge mistake letting her testify.
What’s hilarious to me is that Trump constantly attacks CNN and NYT even though they’ve got the most (and most rightly deserved) criticism for how they’ve covered Trump. The man can’t even identify his enemies properly.
There was certainly nothing racist about Lil Wayne’s New York arrest for gun charges... wait.
My favorite part of her set was when Pete Davidson started heckling her.
If there is a problem (and I don’t really think there is) the solution is actually more young players. There are a healthy number of NFL quality playerd who aren’t allowed to play in the NFL.
Definitely intentional but there are also plenty of valid reasons to oppose mandatory minimum sentences in general. Legislators who may be opposed to them may not have been able to do so with other crimes for political reasons but could do so here (which would be bad in its own right in terms of what it says about…
It’s the same issue but the report first dropped right before the postseason. Made more sense to handle it after the postseason anyway, imo.
Ghostbusters was a terrible financial decision and it’s so frustrating that’s not going to be the lesson learned from it. They made a $180M blockbuster that couldn’t be released in China and could have been made for way less.
