Because the question wasn’t, “Why do we think we’re being oppressed,” or, “Why do you think we think we’re being oppressed,” but, “what is systematic oppression?” The words, “you believe,” should not be in the answer because it suggests systematic oppression is just a perception and not a reality.

I’ve already said they should have let him finish his answer. I think asking whether or not they were going to “shriek” at whatever he said is a bad question. He gave a bad answer and they reacted that way. It doesn’t make much sense to speculate they would have reacted the same way if he had given a good answer,

Not just the head of a university, but one who is actively being protested because of a lack of understanding and response to these very issues. It’s like Jeb Bush not being prepared for a question about his brother or Hillary Clinton not being prepared for a question about her emails.

It’s really not. They should have let him finish his answer but his answer was already wrong when he got drowned out, which is why he got drowned out. When you say he wasn’t technically wrong all you’re saying is you would have gotten it wrong as well.

Glad to see this got picked up by someone in the mainstream.

Wolfe was confronted by some protestors the other night. Before they asked him a specific question he said, “I will answer your question, but I’m sure my answer will be wrong.” That could only mean either 1) He thinks they’re inherently unreasonable and he couldn’t possibly satisfy them or 2) he just knew he would

The Ravens were 20th in offensive yards per play. The Broncos are currently sitting at 19th after a game where the offense was by far the best it has been all season. There’s a good chance they’ll be well behind where the Ravens were by the end of the season.

It seems to me like he was specifically trying not to call her a flip-flopper and instead just emphasize his consistency on things (which is one of his biggest selling points), but that’s admittedly a fine line and I may be giving him too much credit.

It’s a smear campaign because she’s taking an issue where he can be legitimately criticized and instead twisting his words to make it sound like he’s racist and sexist. The fact that there’s room for legitimate criticism makes her attacks more abhorrent. This is one issue where she’s clearly the more liberal

Does she though? I know she’s polling much better with them now, and that race issues aren’t all black voters care about, but it seems like he’s doing much better on those issues. She took her position with minority voters for granted last time and it cost her. I’m not sure it won’t again.

I think anyone who follows the game closely (watches games and looks at stats) knows the Broncos offense has been absolutely terrible this year. Even if the defense keeps this up it’s going to be pretty much impossible to win a Super Bowl with an offense this bad.

I think you’re taking the wrong lesson from the Tyrod Taylor story. There’s not any reason to think he would be worse in his 5th year than he is now if he had been starting ever since he was a rookie. All arguments for “You have to sit QBs to develop,” basically boils down to a few anecdotal examples. I’m gonna go out

They should be eliminated entirely. The concept is inherently flawed. When we think of bias, we typically view it as, “is this bias present or not?” That’s not accurate. Bias is ever-present, it just varies in type and degree.

There is something to be said for this, but the best case scenario is that it’s a pick your poison situation that specifically exists because they are trans.

Nobody thinks it is transphobic for trans people to be convicted of crimes. It *is* transphobic to punish them in certain ways because they are trans.

Justice Anthony Kennedy basically stopped just short of asking someone to bring a case against solitary confinement under the 8th Amendment. So there is some hope there.

Say what you want about Carson, Trump, Fiorina, et. al just pretending to want the job, at least they actually pretend to want the job. I personally would have let him debate either way. Maybe the Dems wouldn’t have let him debate even if he did pretend. But the facts as stand are: guy who made it clear he didn’t

“He said some in Yale’s black community have called black SAE members “Uncle Tom” on Monday, making them feel like they are being forced to choose between siding with the fraternity or others of their race.”

Whisenhunt was not, “supposed to be a great fire.” He was arguably the worst coach in the league when he was in Arizona. He turned down a better job in Detroit, which says a lot about his decision-making. He was only good in Arizona when he had Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, AND Todd Haley.

Wait, is the word “Yiddish” offensive? Otherwise I fail to see how Yid Dish is offensive. Sounds like a kosher food company.
