If only Tina Fey's jumpsuit-of-horror were a dress. Then I would love it.

I saw another photo of Ivanka Trump at a different angle and she looked 100% more stunning. Weird.
@dripdrop: Agreed. And Conan also pointed out that NBC never even gave him a chance to bring profits up. It was less than 6 months!
@SuberJ: And I believe he fought tooth and nail after his show was cancelled to make sure that his laid-off staff would be properly compensated. He's a class act.
@TheGintheCity: Oh, and in regard to the makeup thing — part of the point is that most cosmetics are contraband, and inmates are not supposed to touch each other. So it is a huge huge deal for the women to do each other's hair and give each other pedicures — imagine being in jail for 10 years and you're not allowed…
@Federov: And it may not be her choice to focus on her role. Maybe she has a bad publicist pitching her story, because it really doesn't come across that way in the book.
@Flackette Goes Retro: In her book, Piper goes into detail about the work duties available to women in Danbury (you have to work so that you have commissary money to buy toothpaste). Piper did construction on prison grounds, went up in lifts, remodeled the Warden's entire house, and she was the prison electrician for…
@rachelandmartyn: Thank goodness there's another of us. I loved this book and could not put it down.
@Federov: The whole point of her book is that she meets the people she hurt by trafficking drugs (you're correct, she carried the money, not the drugs themselves). The women she meets in prison are addicts, children of addicts, parents of addicts, etc.
@PowerPuffT: I just wrote a long rant on the main page of this post because I was getting really stabby reading everyone's conclusion-jumping comments. This woman is certainly not perfect, but she writes with great honesty about the women she met and the book is incredibly moving. Anyway, I really do recommend it…
I really wish Jezebel had profiled Piper Kerman's story in a forum other than Cover Lies. If this is a threadjack, feel free to disemvowel me, but I'm having a hard time reading these comments.
@PowerPuffT: @happytedium: I read her book and cried all the way through it. I'm sorry she comes off so weirdly in this Allure article, because the book is absolutely amazing.
I'm just gonna say it: I want to go to there.
@GeorgeFayne: Please share! Inquiring (straight female) minds want...details. :)
@AfroJezeBella: I'm pretty sure I saw pictures of Justin Guarini's wedding in In Touch or one of those rags. Not that that means he can't be gay, but I think he's too F-list for the cover of People.
@Raised-byHeathens: Help me out here, what is a slore?
@ink: I think you've (and others on this thread, and sorry if I'm repeating) hit on something here that we can add to because not everyone has a partner/significant other/whatever to tell them they're gorgeous, so...
@HeartRateRapid: I do this too. And I 100% agree with you that it does help.
@bbmaggee: And whether dudes think they're a good-looking dude or not, 9 out of 10 of them is going to confidently approach women anyway, and achieve success.
@MySandwich: And I find it notable how "natural" her breasts look in that bra. As opposed to the padded/shoved-together look of today?
