Is that... an American Apparel dress???

That is a GREAT shade of red lipstick.

@langtry: But then, wouldn't nearly every actress who played an Austen "young girl" character have been too old? Those girls were marryin' at 16, 17, 18!

Hillary totally would have voted for the most qualified candidate, and not let race or gender figure into it.

@rhody: The bride of the most recent wedding I was in gave 1/12 of a cow to each of the people in the wedding party. I am very proud to be 1/12 owner of a cow.

@solaana: I'm mid-Rome Season 2, and I'm seriously missing Julius Ceasar. I never thought that much-older-than-Wentworth Hinds would be hot too, but he is! I'm with you.

I just have to chime in and say that I watched the "newer" Mansfield Park on DVD this past weekend, and it reminded me that I really do like it. Yes, they added a lot of weird slavery stuff that is not in the book but would have existed at the time (remember, Austen almost completely glosses over the Napoleonic War),

Also, I heard a ... rumor... that he's married. (Meaning, I read it in In Touch.

@onthecornerofparkerandwoolf: Ha ha ha! Did the same thing with Aladdin, except that I didn't have to run back to the movie because I knew the whole thing by heart. But we put in our own songs — the Genie entered the stage lipsynching to "2 Legit 2 Quit" and princess Jasmine (played by me of course) lipsynched to

@TruculentandUnreliable: Which is, in fact, true. I am J. Crew, my mother is J. Jill. Except for the fact that their clothes run large, thus she has to buy an XS, they look perfect and adorable on her! She has style, but has to keep it a bit conservative, as she is an educator. Thus, J. Jill.

Any suggestions for brands/purchase locations of pure cranberry juice (non-cocktail)? I'm not sure if I've ever seen it anywhere (or maybe I wasn't looking...) Whole Foods?

@MsKenney: Ooh! Your dress was beautiful!

Currently in my closet I have: a pale pink polyester monstrosity (Seriously, it was almost the same color as my skin. Creepy, and looked like a 16-year-old's prom dress). A knee-length green strapless (pretty, but probably won't ever wear again. I'm not much for green). And a floor-length, silk, plain black Ann

Haha! I was in school from 98-02, and the school had an all campus, school-sponsored annual party, the point of which was to get as creatively naked as possible and experiment with drugs and sex.

Aw, I like her more and more each day.

Aaaa! He's wearing more makeup than I am! And I'm slathered in wetslicks fruit spritzers today (stupid advertising...sucking me in...making me buy things...)

She looks like a Charlie's Angel. Was this taken in 1976?

@OnTheRaggedyAnne: Uh, no. It means you were offered a job and you took it. Sheesh.

They're all "Pfft. I am SO much prettier than her."

Oh my, I love me some Kyra and The Closer. So glad to hear Jezebel-love for that show! I love love love Brenda's chemistry with Fritz and Sergeant Gabriel. Kyra looks amazing (and a friend of mine knows the Kyra/Kevin family well and says she's a doll in real life).
