I remember watching this!

My mom has some statues from that painting, and loves it so I do too. I was mesmerized the first time I saw it in person.

Makes me think of the bit in “Portrait of a Lady” where the lead character and her friend keep getting whistles blown at them for touching statues.

I would have ditched her

Have you sent that to “when you work at a museum” tumblr? Hilarious!

That makes my stomach feel knotted

Ugh...she can go jump in a lake

It is, I was surprised too.

Good job CMA patrons!

I was so excited once at a modern art gallery, there was a massive pile of colorful wrapped candies. I saw kids grabbing handfuls and leaving, my museum/teacher brain really wanted to say “Are you supposted to be taking those?”, but luckily I refrained. When I was in Venice, and found that I’d be herded along in the big church instead of being able to take my time, plus I’d have to wait 2 hours, I skipped it and got prettier photos in a card. Then went and enjoyed pretty little churches and lunch.

Poor guy!

Or ask you, but not you since you aren’t doing these things, to leave.

I’m so sorry...I had a kid drop red gatorade on the floor, while I was Spring Cleaning, and luckily the floor is painted black, but people aren’t supposted to be drinking in the house. Argh. I know it’s hot but still, do it outside.

Visitors do that all the time on clearly locked doors, even after we explain it’s locked. Weird.

A very see-through white shirt...yum!

I hope not... my Lelo just died, boo! So this will be a nice replacement. :)

NPR just had a story on this last week, and pointed to plane hijackings and bombings as things that have gotten a lot better. We just hear about horrible stuff for so long, and instanly, it seems like more horrible things are happening.

...who is a demon in bed.

I’m 37, nearly, and have never wanted or needed them.
