I’ve driven a lot of GM cars and trucks. The only one I have ever not been satisfied with is our current one, my wife’s GMC Terrain. It’s full of problems. Okay then get a used Volt if you don’t wanna pay that much. It’s still better than the Leaf. And the SUVS my wife and I both have were that much when we bought them. So we wouldn’t be making a bigger payment than what we already are used to.

Volt for the win. I’m really considering getting a 2016 redesigned Volt for getting around town.. My wife works 2 miles from our house so it would be perfect and then park her SUV until we need to go somewhere longer. The ‘16 models look sharp, have some nice options, and have a longer range than the previous gen.

Honestly, if I had an injury that could reasonably lead to some amnesia, I’ll consider using it as an opportunity to at least act like I no longer know certain people, even if I still did.

I remarked to my girlfriend after she heard about this story that “if I ever get that kind of brain damage from anything, please, pull the plug. I don’t want to survive that.”

To which she said “if I found out you got brain damage after a night in a whorehouse, I’d gladly pull the plug.”

I love how we have an insanely fast and luxurious vehicle made right here in the US and 90% of the comments so far seem to be “baaah, the doors are stupid. Deeerp, it’s for rich hippies.” You knuckle draggers are why we can’t have nice things.

I always say. “let’s call the cops. They know the law. The person at fault will get ticketed.” Then I pull out my phone and calmly volunteer to call 911.

I get the Critical Mass thing to raise awareness, I thought the thing was to usually take over a lane of vehicle travel to raise attention, not to go willy nilly riding headlong into oncoming traffic. That’s just Critical Ass(hole).

Yup, this is what bothers me about this. I strongly support the BLM movement. As a Latino, I have a vested interested in the police being held accountable for their actions, etc. I mean, the leading GOP candidate in current polls literally called me a rapist and a drug dealer.

The BLM controversy began when its members disrupted two of Clinton’s challengers at Netroots Nation in Phoenix, a gathering she didn’t attend.
