Well they were testing for corrosion. That doesn't mean they didn't find any, just that if they did, they didn't care (which sounds like a perfectly GM thing to do).

And yet, somehow, the Chevy Vega's tendency to rust prematurely, as in right in the showrooms, got by them.

The worst part of this? They still can't match the shittyness of any Midwestern road in the spring.

And there is a difference there.

He's actually a really nice guy, just fuckin' nuts. Well a lot better now that he is off the blow.

I will upvote any Tavarish parody.

Indeed...it's better visible in an enlarged version of the above picture.

Ken Blocks stunts are cool, but he's never been that good when time matters.

The Roadmaster is not New Englandy at all. I grew up in Newport RI in the 90s and everyone was driving Land Rovers and Volvos and shit in the 90s. Those things are pretty goddamn New England. I've seen them for sale for ridiculous prices, but I guess nostalgia is worth it for some people.

Life-long New Englander... First thing I thought of seeing those pictures was "that's definitely Michigan."

I, too, grew up in suburban/rural Massachusetts in the '80s and early '90s. This looks more upper Great Lakes/Midwest than New England...the Michigan registration of the boat (the actual boat; not the Roadmaster) would make me tend to believe that's the case.

Good to see someone has already forgotten about recalapolypse.
