I mean, if a shit ton of car enthusiasts, I mean THOUSANDS of them all decided to spend their money all at the same time and import cars that don't meet this regulation it would definitely make a statement. I suspect it would be possible a coordinate event like that could bring the issue back on the table. It sounds

Hey Aston, just build some of these and sell them to the ultra-wealthy for an extortionate amount of money. Then let Mercedes buy you. All your problems solved.

There's been an EU-NA trade agreement in the works to homogenize the standards by which a lot of things are made, so that the same products can be sold on both continents. The Germans in particular are worried that if they allow this, the quality of things will go down because of some of our relatively relaxed or even

Heres' the problem: this isn't a "top of the stack" issue. It's buried, underneath just about everything else. Not that many people care. Obviously, we all care and it matters, but it doesn't matter to people outside the car world. It would take a lot to get a significant amount of other people, or

I've actually made this point before, but then countered with "times and roads have changed." I guess in order to enjoy the luxury of a well engineered but tall, ungainly car, we had to go through a century of engineering an having relatively smaller cars. I still wouldn't buy a crossover, but in this context it makes

"The new Mercedes AMG GT was a real disappointment, the fondue cart ran out before they had time to explain that you could only take 1 slice of foie gras per journalist. Fucking shit car."

No, Steve, what you're feeling is normal, and healthy. You've now got a box-shaped vehicle with about 5-10x the power it had from the factory. Some swelling of the genitals is to be expected.

How tall is this in relation to the old Q7? Because some SUVs are already "wagons on steroids," I'm not sure how different it will be if all these SUVs just turn into tall ass wagons.

928, 996, Cayenne, or early Boxster?

I got the M5. That's not very far off, so that's kind of cool. I thought I'd get something like a 911 or an M3/4. Cool stuff guys, keep on making these. Maybe even throw in a few serious ones every once in awhile haha

This is absolutely fucking disgusting. Clearly this guy was breaking the law, but like smoking a joint in your apartment on a Friday night while watching Netflix and eating buffalo wing flavored pretzels, it's really not what one thinks of as "criminal." There are people doing way worse shit than this that is legal

Maybe some German manufacturers wanted to steal some Rangies to reverse engineer them and make their own cars horrendously unreliable.

My only complaint. Looks cheap.

stanced right out of the box

Serious question here: How is it that, if manufacturers use the same internal components for electrics/pumps/hoses/etc., that Land Rover products break all the time and yet the same components in other cars last longer?

It all sounds pretty sweet. Audi is reportedly still deciding whether to bring the RS3 to the U.S. For now the Sportback five-door hatch is the only bodystyle, but we've also heard rumblings a sedan might be in the works. I'd love to see that happen for America. Do it, Audi!

In addition to the revised front and rear, the car also sports a magnetic ride suspension, optional ceramic brakes and a ton of other goodies.

Must be RWD

Does it feel like a sofa in a good way?

How do you brick a Jeep Wrangler?
