Aw.. thanks. **hugs** At least there are some of us who do get it and just knowing that, that you aren't totally alone means so much. **Goes back to my daily Stuart Smalley regimen.**

+1 for awesome mom
Thicker skin? More like losing your humanity, shutting down your ability to empathize... to stop feeling and caring, to stop caring what others think of you and what you think of others. Sure that will help stop making the bullying words hurt a lot less.
I was once a happy kid that then started to get bullied for years, starting around age 8 right up to mid high school. I became depressed and even though I am in my 30s I still think about suicide daily and have trouble accepting any self-worth.
..and that is why I usually go to the men's section of the store for anything that doesn't specifically need to fit a lady body. I was appalled with one of the company's reasons women's deodorant cost more for less product: "because men have bigger armpits".
My fav is how they are now starting to find out how women get different symptoms than men for certain illnesses. Like for all these years they assumed and told everyone to watch out for that that whole "pain in left arm" as a symptom of a heart attack because that is what they learned from all those old white dude…
Ontario. We Canookians embrace the pop, though I tend to say soda when speaking out loud, but that is probably due to having majority of my friends being from "Soda" regions in the USA.
Agree. Some people don't. Sorry, too :)
I don't think it is fair to call it uneducated and simplistic. Most people who say calorie in/calorie out know and agree with most of what you expanded on as being every good advice. I guess maybe I see what mary posted as essentially agreeing with what you posted (which is good advice and a good post) except with…
Yes you did: "it's not like people don't EVER drink it"
Kikai was acting like no one in the world never drank water. I simply pointed out that, yes there are people like that and not every one is like Kikai. I never made a judgement against people who drink pop or whatever you are assuming. (I LOVE my coke zero and rarely drink water myself.)
Yeah, sarcasm used to imply something that wasn't even said.
Why are you calling these people horrible, despicable people? What is wrong with you?
**googles Karl Lagerfeld**
Exactly! kikai made a blanket statement as if all people are just like him/her. Some times people are different and they aren't the only person so they should get off their pedestal.
The point is is that TheLilacUnicorn's comment wasn't only directed at you.
You probably aren't lying when you say you are allergic to flour and sugar. both made you unhealthy.
But there are people who don't ever drink water. There are people who only drink diet coke.
What they should do is remind the Canadians how hormone and antibiotic-filled USA milk is and how that is a no-no in Canada and they might reconsider the cheap stuff across the border.
I must start flying Delta because I find it incredibly annoying. :)
