This, to me, is the worst part of this whole situation. Gawker fucked up hard and I think they are getting what was coming to them. This lying idiot snake oil salesman getting the better part of a million dollars for a bullshit suit based on his bullshit lies is just sad though. I really don’t get how he is still part

This is incredible. I’m typically of the mind that no one deserves to be paid to play dress up(I know, kill me), but this is something else entirely. This is like a movie studio quality character.

As an owner of a new Sony 55inch 3D 4k, I can tell you that 4k matters to me as much as the 3D does.... which is pretty much not at all. Unless you have your face smashed to the screen there isn’t a noticeable difference in 4k. I like this OLED a lot, just not sure about spending 1k (which is what I spent on my Sony).

Damn. Did a Kardashian kick your dog? I’m the last person to defend them, but this post is just fucking mean for the sake of being mean. Serious. It’s a halloween costume, not some authentic cosplay. Relax.

I responded to you before your other comments:

Haven’t heard of Avenue Q or whatever references you are making. Something British maybe? My joke was that your attempt to class the place up with a bunch of $10 words fell a little flat. Since we are not, in fact, a site with a classy comments section.

Yea, I’m wondering if they knew this article needed a little punch up. Very subtle Gizmodo... very subtle...

Seems like you want an argument either way. You’re entitled to your opinion, just like I and everyone else here do as well. I’m not sure why you think trying to bully people in comments is helpful. Being petty and rude makes any argument less convincing.

Ha! ;)

Right. The distinction is that I’m saying it’s not a precise medical term, it’s a precise legal term to avoid liability. The term is intentionally vague from a medical perspective. Sounds like we aren’t necessarily disagreeing.

This terminology isn’t made for precision or accuracy, it’s made to mitigate risk and accountability. People create these ridiculous terms to tiptoe through legalities, like you mentioned in your first paragraph. “sustained injuries that were incompatible with living” isn’t something that a doctor would use to most

Haha, truth. But they do have the largest factory and largest freestanding building in the world in progress to make batteries for these things. Like I was saying, they are probably HOPING for a few cancellations.

That’s one of the 4 examples I gave. The others make it clear the person was DOA.

Wow... you own a thesaurus!

They are up to almost 400k pre-orders. I think they can have a LOT of people walk away and still have the biggest vehicle launch of all time.

It should not be proper terminology. It’s ridiculous. “Died of their injuries”, “were pronounced dead on site, “fatal injuries”, “determined to be fatally wounded”, etc. Anything is better than this “incompatible with living” garbage.

HAhahahahhahahaha... wow, amazing analysis! :D

Why not AV? HAV is apparently a lot of things, but not this.

First, that’s still really speculative numbers with so few on the road in real conditions. Second, I’ve spent 34 years never having been in a single fender bender. Some luck in that sure, but I determine my own fate more than any other factor. If I get crippled or injured (or worse injure/kill someone else) I want to
