You really don’t see the hypocrisy in demanding accountability from the police and letting one of our own harm one of our women. If you want frontier justice that is fine but please tell me what does that do other than give white folks more rope to hang us with figuratively and literally. Like I said, GROW UP. Holding

While I totally get the people who think renaming them after the Red Tails is a good idea, I just can’t agree. They’ve been profiting from marketing the likeness of POC already. I don’t want them to replace one with another and keep doing the same thing. Plus I don’t see the Washington team doing too much honor to the

“I am not sure they are worthy of the Red Tail name,” Lt. Col. James Harvey, 97, told Time. “They don’t win that many games...”,

All NFL teams should be jointly owned by their employees and the cities in which they reside. The Packers have the only decent owner in the entire NFL.

I have no skin in this game, but I would think if you’re going to name a team after actual people that are still living, you need to respect the shit out of their position on the matter.  Otherwise it’s an empty gesture, and likely exploitative.

Seems like it would further the troubling merger of sports with performative patriotism and ecstatic militarism, aka celebrating “The Troops.”

I echo Lt. Col. Harvey’s exact sentiments. I don’t want their legacy to potentially be sullied by a team that isn’t very good. Even if they were good, they won’t always be.

This was a question that was brought up in therapy so if it helps, here is what my therapist told me and then what I learned elsewhere:

When I was in the most unhappy years of my marriage the idea that “marriage is hard work” dogged me. I was in therapy one day crying and saying “Maybe this is just what it’s like? I

True. :(

This whole industry is a cesspool. I keep waiting for a #MeToo level reckoning to come, yet here we are still talking about abuses that have occurred seemingly since The Arrival of a Train at La Ciotat and we’re still talking masking abusers that “everyone” knows that no one will name. It’s fucking depressing.

Keke Palmer tweeted — in his defence! — about people giving others space and staying out of their personal lives, aka “mess”. He and Palmer have history, apparently, so he took the opportunity to go on the offensive.

She complimented my top once so I have a soft spot.

If (God forbid) the worst happens and she passes away between now and January 20 next year (especially if it’s after the election and Trump has lost), I fucking guarantee that POS McConnell will rush Trump’s nominee through without an ounce of shame.

You know, in hindsight, maybe a system whereby the top judges in the country are selected by whichever politician currently sits in the White House and then serve until death was not the best system.

Naya was a beast vocally. Saying she was the best voice on the show is like saying “Sporty was the best singer of the Spice Girls”. Sure, someone might find it in themselves to argue with you, but they would be wrong.

Oh man, yeah, that performance was definitely one of the best from the entire show’s run. My gay ass used to listen to that mash up and just brood, lol.

And I am sure Erin Andrews was discussed here back when she was on ESPN and some dbag took a nude video of her through a peephole in her hotel room.

“Dancing with the Stars”?! What’s that?! I’m way to cool to know what that is. It’s only been on the air for 15 years and I had no idea. Aren’t I hip?- Joan Summers

Honestly, 75% of Dirt Bags are people I have (or my teenage kids have) never heard of. Tom Bergeron is a legend! Hollywood Squares, America’s Funniest Home Videos...an actual professional who seems like a generally decent person.
